He may have not that much respect, but he is rated higher than Calzaghe. You prefer him, but most boxing experts don't rate him anywhere near as highly. That might change if he beats Pac, of course.

i'm noticing its not the pac fans, it seems the mayweather fans just rip into the guy because floyd beat him......which floyd deserves credit....but now if u come back on with criticism of floyd they think its the end of the world....floyd fought very little hall of famers...baldomir washes up, de la hoya washed up, floyd is great but hes not ATG...thats a load of crap...put that 39-0 against other guys in other eras it falls apart...bottom line...great fighter and hall of famer, but not a ATG like top 15 or 10...be reasonable its more like floyd hater not his fans

i think another point about hatton's lack of respect is he did take such an ugly loss to mayweather, and in america that was the first time a lot of fans saw hatton, outside of the collazo fight....i just think physically ricky might not be the same guy when he fought kosta tzyu, but i think his ring intelligence is better since the mayweather fight showtime showed a lot of hattons fights before the KT fights

The fight was Floyds first fight at 135 where he fought the best fighter at 135. It was a close fight and alot of people had Castillo the winner. He could have done what Hatton done and run back to 130 ala Hatton Collazo but he rematched Castillo and clearly beat him in the rematch. Hatton wanted no piece of Collazo again.

Yea, seriously. 140 is his domain where hes never lost. Hes not an aged, part time fighter either. What Pacquiao did to DLH was nice, but lets be real. Many of us have been saying DLH has been on the slide for years now. We know Hatton at 140 is a bully as well. I'm not saying its going to be a blowout in Hattons favor, but I think he edges Pac out. Its going to be a great fight and probably FOTY.Your smoking crack if you think this fight will be foty. This fight will either be Pac whupping Hattons ass from the outside with superior skills and speed. Or Hatton will be the 140lb John Ruiz and will hold Manny like Manny is his girlfreind.
