Cotto can beat anyone at 147 except Floyd Mayweather. The fight could happen if Cotto beats Clotty, Berto, Mosley. Unifies at 147 while Money May takes that crazy Money by beating up JMM and giving us that Glorious fight with Pacquiao. Then and only Then will Cotto get his MEGA FIGHT. No, i don't think we will see that fight, nor should we. Floyd's getting old and he's now coming back from a long vacation. I think he should fight great fighters who are his own size. What is the highest weight JMM has fought at, and what is his age compared to the welters who are in their primes? Which means nothing since Floyd wouldn't use any of those advantages. You do remember that both of these guys have fought in almost the same exact weight classes for most of their careers excluding Floyds last 6 or 7 bouts. What all of a sudden Floyd is gonna start boxing like Margarito or Clotty. Now those guys use their physical advantages Floyd doesn't. It would be a pure boxing match between Floyd and JMM and my bet is it would actually be a boring tactical bout rather than a free for all. It would come down to who the better technician would be and JMM is even with Floyd on those terms.

If I had my way I would love to see Floyd fight every 3 months if he could. Because that means he would fight 4 times a year. yup.....just like its ok for Manny to fight JMM weighin' 147 or 48 but if Floyd fights him at 145 he's too big.......Hatton can come in on fight night carryin' 152 but its cool if dances with Pac..... but Floyd who at most carries about 150 on fight night, is being called too big for Pac......its crazy! The truth is Hatton, Floyd, Pac, and Marquez are really all about the same size give or take 5 pounds here or there. None of them really have a significant weight advantage over the other where it would actually be anykind of factor.
