He was very determined for the Floyd fight aswell.
Unfortunately for him skill beats determination 99% of the time.
never underestimate the heart of a champion....look at diego corrales
thats just in 3 weeks training...imagine how sharp hatton will be come may 2nd...i think hatton look sharps just for 3 weeks while pac seems to be doing interviews all the time, and roach talking about how there going to knock hatton out....i think hatton is a very determined man

i thought his hands looked quicker, and he looked like he had more of a jab then usual...and of course we all know he has superb footwork...be in pac's face all night
that'll just be perfect for manny :fing02:
Lol. Be real. Hatton's my 2nd favorite fighter out there but fact is besides an old and shot Jose Luis Castillo, Hatton has not put anyone down in a long, long time. Even featherfisted Paulie Malignaniggi who was fighting with only 1 arm should have been allowed to continue to last the distance.
this paulie argument means shit pal!!!! cotto didn;t stop paulie with a broken cheek bone. granted it was his coner that stopped it, but never the less, so that kinds blows your point out of the water.
I see it the same but with Pac wearing ricky out
if pac wins it will be by decision...him knockingout hatton is highly unlikely...look hatton has only been knockedout once at that was by mayweather at 147, which hatton is just an average at best welterweight......hes the best in the world at 140 in the world, its not impossible but highly unlikely pac can ko him...jsut look at the circumstances
Pacs a real pro you thing he is gunna look past Hatton lol , he will train to his best just like he always does , Hatton looked ordinary in that video what are you on about , he still hops in with his head stuck up like a toten pole , Pac is a class better fighter that has way more skills , the Hattonites are just going over the same crap as when he fought Floyd , Hatton will get a very strong feeling of de vaju when Pac is landing crisp clean shots and is then gone , Pacman to put on a boxing clinic .
hatton is going to make his arse fight and that will be his downfall, roach is going to tell him to just box, but hatton is going to force him into a fight....thats not good for manny against hatton, look for hatton to wear down pac by the later rounds
Hatton has always been fairly high on the talent level. Its his skill which is lacking some what. He has won many fights because of this. But its also why he can't make the next step.
I don't really think his speed has improved, I think it's his technique that has improved which makes it look like his speed has as well.
yea maybe...but if thats just with in 3 weeks of training imagine how hatton will be come may 2nd....hatton's boxing skills will suprise some folks
hand speed with better overall lateral movement looks better to me, i swear hatton gets no credit no matter how hard he trys...hes a very determined man.... hatton is no marquez that will have just flash knockdowns....hatton has way better footwork then any opponent pac has faced, and his hands look quicker, on the bag looks like he has a jab
Look at the damage Cotto did to Malignaggi's face. Paulie passed out after that fight in agonizing pain. Hatton came nowhere near doing anything like that. Paulie wanted to carry on but McGirt threw in the towel, much to Paulie's pissed off-ness. So you can talk about a stoppage, but really... was it? Not really. It was just Buddy McGirt doing what he usually does when his fighter is losing -- play it safe and pull him out.
This is just silly though. I actually feel quite stupid sitting here discussing and comparing Malignaggi to Pacquiao in any way. They are not even on the same planet. The Pacquiao-Hatton fight won't play out like this, and you can't compare what Hatton did in that fight to what he can do with Pac in front of him. Hatton was not hurt in the Malignaggi fight. Not once. It's easy to look great when you're fighting the equivalent of a 10 year-old boy scout.
offensive skills yes pac is on a different level than paulie...but paulie's chin should be recognized as a good one...i think theres still question marks about pacs chin...outside of 130...he got hit by a forearm punch by david diaz and that was it...oscar never touched him either...that chin is still suspect above 130
