Ever since floyd mayweather no ones rated hatton at all!
I remember these forums before he fought malignaggi, at least half the forum thought malignaggi wouldbox hattons ears off
Now hes fighting pac-man and hes now a massive under dog
Hatton is too strong for pac IMO

good point..I'm a huge hatton fan and I dont understand how people keep thinking its gonna be an easy win for pac..I dont think pacman is gonna win this fight..I'm not saying he cant..just dont think he will.

I agree with you... I never thought Hatton would be the underdog here.. years before I never thought this match will ever happen, i only match and play their characters in PSP games. Looking back... Pac would have been the underdog.
theres misconceptions developing about this fight...hatton used to cut bad early on in his carear....i heard floyd, sr. say he was more concerned about swelling in the malignaggi fight early on....plus people say pac has this great chin...i think thats a myth....marquez had him wobbled good in both fights, barrera in the there second fight had him wobbled in round 5, go look at the footage if you dont believe me, and of course morales-pac 1 is the blue print to beat him...jab and come in and pressure....sounds like ricky hatton to me
Not quite... it's a different Pac now... very much improved. Footwork, Defense, and counter-punching.
Not sure about the need for the thread.
Hatton gets written off whenever he comes up against a speedy boxer with good movement, Paulie (I wrote him off in that fight), Manny and Floyd.
Its nothing to do with countries imo, its to do with the fact he has a nasty habit of bull rushing fighters and running into all sorts of shots. Plus he doesnt appear to have a plan B and keeps doing that same thing endlessly in the hope he will connect with something.
Thus any time he comes up against a good mover or a slick fighter, he's probably going to get written off by a few.
I couldn't have said this better myself. I agree with every word.
i'm a fan but have to agree with this. hopefully he'll be a little more patient under floyd snr and have a plan b
Now that's the key to beating Pac... Morales lost patience = KO, (Diaz lost Blood..too much blood..LOL!=KO)(Oscar lost.... ok enough)
As I was saying look how patient JMM was, he never panicked... he was patient, he was smart and adjusted, always has a plan B and a plan C if plan B was not good enough... and he survived Pac.
(But how would you be patient against a jack-in-a-box that hit you with blinding combinations all night. All I can be is a hospital "patient" against Pac.)
I agree with some of those points....but pac has a very bad weakness of being off balance when he throws hes power left...marquez exploited it the most....and i see hatton having a huge shot early on that wobbles him good, like he did malginaggi in round 2 of that fight....and then he will be in pacs head, and get tenative to throw the massive left
Ill bump my thread about the fight, you can go in and let loose.
whatever.......... am not underestimating hatton though, im one nervous pacfan, a lot of you guys shouldnt be too sensitive about the thrash talking this is a boxing forum after all.May the best man win:boxing:
There's trash talking and then there's just plain delusional, disrespect against Hatton that will get shown up.

I thinks its more of a minority.

also to americans just have a distate for british boxers which is dumb in my opinion....americans in southern states have much more respect for latin fighters than british fighters, because of the latin influence.....i'm one of the few americans i know thats a big hatton fan....i also think a lot of people write hatton off because of his resume is not very deep outside of kosta tzyu...but i think he rips anybody at 140 in the world
just couldn't decide whether the guy was saying that was his opinion with regards to english fighters or the general consensus
what do you mean by this??

hatton is just too strong you're right but hatton should not think that a win over pacman puts him at the top of the tree.
if anything it miht propell him into the op 50 but nothing more than that, if ricky bets bradley before he retires i think that would be a great win. i rate bradders very highly and i think he could beat ricky, if he beats holt hes knocking on the top 10 door imo.
