Um did you see his EYE against Cotto.
Zab showed major grit and heart in that fight...and he gave everything he had and took a major beating...His brain does turn to shit after round 5 though.
Malignaggi was fighting back that takes more heart. Judah just did'nt want to look like a cunt AGAIN by quitting.
Anybody who thinks Judah has more heart than Paulie is nuts. The dude is notorious for his lack of heart.
If you model yourself around a "pretty boy" image in boxing there's a good chance you'll annoy a large chunk of fans. It's the whole macho bullshit thing.
But hair extensions or no - Paulie's a brave, tough and skillful fighter. It's a pity his hands keep letting him down.
I like him now aswell. I did'nt like him at first, because of his smack talk about Cotto etc.
He earned my respect against Cotto and he's been growing on me ever since, have u seen the interview before the N'dou fight where he goes off on some Mad trash talk? Crazy funny man lol
Yeah he sounds low right there man, u know i used to Hate Mallinagi but ive flipped the script on that and he is cool in my book, good laugh

Agree.
Paulie sounded like a broken man even before the Hatton fight.

Certainly not the fighter he was, confidence is now down to that of a normal human lol and his hands are so fukked
Agree.

Paulie in 2008 was poor. Not the Paulie we have seen.
Ngoudjo - Looked good the first 3-4 rounds then got hit a few times and werent qutie the same, dunno how people say Ngoudjo won though, Paulie won.
N'Dou II - The hair got him the first half of the fight and then the hand the 2nd half and still won i felt. Perhaps fair to get a split decision but Paulie won and looked bad due to 2 reasons as said above doing it.
Hatton - First round controlled the tempo, but as soon as Hatton landed in the 2nd it was over. Just werent the same but could capatalise on the 1st round cause he didnt throw with his right hand (only threw it 5 times). Was psychologically affected from just coming back from it.
Paulie is NOT a shot fighter, just psychologically needs to get the hand out the way and start throwing it. Weak or not, it helps.
His taken a nice break since Hatton, i feel Paulie would beat Judah.....if he can throw that right hand!
Paulie UD.
I dont think it was a lack of heart from Paulie, he just looked like he froze on fight night. Paulie's got plenty of heart imo. That imo is what helped him become a champion regardless of his lack of punching power.
Malignaggi v Judah who wins it. Two Brooklyn fighters face off, but who would win ?
I dont know why this fight hasnt been made yet two guys who fall short of top level but are good and are names, the trash talking would be sick and the Brooklyn bravado would be a laugh - This fight would sell!
My pick Zab Judah :boxing:
you're only as good as your last fight, and against hatton he showed no heart, he wouldn't even fight back, but he cries when buddy stopped the fight........
and like i said, paulie has already said he's fighting for the money from here on out.....that says it all.
i dont think you understand what "heart" is. i never said he gave an amazing performance but he had PLENTY of heart for staying in there with hatton. as sparked mentioned, paulie doesnt have the power to turn the tide around and it was pretty evident he was getting beat up and losing. staying in a fight under those circumstances is a reflection of................... HEART!
him saying he's only fighting for money now is an indicator that he's probably not so passionate about the sport anymore and feels that he's done at the elite level.
