I called this a week ago. Without a Klitschko in the ring nobody cares to see Haye fight except for a few British fanboys.
This is Haye's retirement fight, good riddance to bad rubbish.
one has to wonder what they were demanding in the Haye negotiations..
It's called "leverage". Haye has none of it because he is nobody outside of GBR. He either meets the demands or earns his shot like everyone else.
Vitali and Wladimir are good men outside of boxing, educated, and this and that, but the 2 leaders of the Heavyweight division have a responsability: ENTERTAIN.
I mean everybody said Mayweather was boring, but in fact it was beautiful defensive boxing.
The K brothers win fights in a boring fashion against guys who are not on their league. The only times i saw them in good fights were when they got pushed like Wladimir vs Peter, for example.
To say Wlad's fights have been boring (and only the recent ones) is one thing.
To say that Vitali's fights are boring is just asinine.
I think that the former Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion of the World needs to fight someone of note in the heavyweight division before going after the two main men, Vitali and Vladmir.
He does not deserve a shot at the title yet.
If you are British, you will be hung for treason for this statement.
yes sorry i forgot 2 mention it was the website.that seems like good enough proof 4 me i cant wait for the fight 2 happen
But it doesn't say anywhere on the website that Haye signed.
For a guy who's "irrelevant" Haye sure seems capable of generating endless discussion in here.
At times it's like the broom sequence from Fantasia. Chop one thread off the page and TWO MORE spring forth carrying buckets of water.
Here's a link to the Daily Telegraph website's sportpage - it's not there:

The website is more up-to-date than the actual newspaper.

Source? Besides the Sun this morning.
I have it from someone who received a text message from Wladimir at 3 pm Eastern time today, his assistant trainer, that Haye still hadn't signed.

No, british fan, Haye STILL hasn't signed - less than 24 hours to go.
If he doesn't sign, I'll have no regrets. Not that I wouldn't want to see this fight, but I'd also like to see Wlad fight Arreola, Povetkin, Valuev or Dimitrenko.
And I'd like to see Haye try to get past Dimitrenko or Arreola in an eliminator. :lol1:

So go away and stay away.
I don't see any reason to think Haye would beat Ruiz. He'd have a punchers chance, that's about it.
personally i think u should go away and stay away.the fight has been signed for june 20th,so u can be quiet now cant you
why doesnt he fight someone else then,im sure there r plenty of guys he could jab 2 death for 12,boring rounds
That doesn't make sense...
Only 4 of Wlad's 52 fights have gone the distance.
Usually he knocks his opponents out, often in an early round.
Apparently David Haye is worried about how exciting he will be to himself, he hasn't signed a contract and he hasn't fought in 4 months.
The only thing boring me right now is the Heavyweight Champion sitting on his ass waiting for this poser to sign a contract for 5 times as much money as he has ever made for a fight.

u worried someone exciting might liven up the worse division in boxing?
