Why didnt Barrera pull out before 4?

The point he made after the fight was if the ref knew it was a clash of heads that caused the cut, then it should of been on the ref to stop the fight (when the clash happened) not his corner. When it was obvious they couldn't do much, he called in the doctor and then asked Barrera if he wished to continue. He did. The doctor was then called in a second time, and he stopped the fight. If you think about it, how many times have we seen that - the doc lets it continue on the first referral to him, but stops it on the second? Being in the UK had nothing to do with it.
