Did the cut really affect Barrera?

ofcorse... make it worse since it had to happen in the 1st round...

Obviously it did affect him but the outcome i think would of been the same

Cut or not cut, Khan would have won anyways. It would have been a closer fight maybe, but IMO Barrera had no chance tonight.

simple he would have said the blood is affecting my vision and the ref and doc would instantly said im stopping the fight,

The question is what could have happened if khan had the cut, not if both were without cuts.. What could have happened if khan had the cut instead of barrera?

I think Khan shown that he was the better fighter on the night anyway, but the cut didn't help what so ever. co-sign 95% of fighters would have stopped with that cut and had taken a no decision. Barrera has some serious balls but we already knew that. Still, Barrera would have probably lost with or without a cut. He just didn't have the speed, and Khan has made some serious defensive improvements

Ok if Khan sufferd that cut without a doubt the doc would have said he cant carry on because the blood was running into his eye affecting his vision and as we know the ref under these circumstances has to call the fight off its not like it was running mainly around the eye it was dripping directly into it. just imagine fighting at any level let alone this level unable to see anything coming in from the left side ?
