May 2nd a tune up for James Kirkland?

I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking they are going to look at like maybe Alex Bunema for Kirkland to get a ko. Which imo would be a slap in the face to the fans. We deserve better fights. I would probably be pleased if they matched him with Bunema, that is how accustomed I am to sub par undercard fights lol. I expect nothing when it comes to undercard fights atleast until I see otherwise. It is pretty sad though because undercard fights on big time PPV can really help to build the stars of tomorrow, but I guess the short term costs outweigh the long term benefits.

It is a PPV undercard fight, which pretty much means he will be matched up to look like a million bucks. I just hope the guy he fights is halfway decent though, someone that atleast tries to win even if they have no real hope of winning.
