I remember Echols fouling Hopkins once. That's when he was fed up with Hopkins constant fouling, picked him and slammed him. Then Bernard faked a shoulder injury until he found out he wasn't going to win by DQ.
Hopkins was a trip.
Echols dislocated Hopkins' shoulder with that slam, and Hopkins still got up, dropped him in the 7th, and stopped him in the 10th.
And a lot of the warnings Hopkins got from the referee were brought on by Echols, there were a few times I saw him lean into a Hopkins body shot, so it would stray low. Then he would turn to the referee to complain immediately, and get tagged by Hopkins in return for doing it.
I don't agree with some of them : There was some serious bullshit in there.
Especially on Hopkins and Margarito.
Echols fouled the living shit out of Hopkins in that fight as well, the video makes it seem as if it were all Hopkins' doing.
And Margarito couldn't help it that Cintron kept ducking down like a bitch when he was trying to hit him, and he kept grazing the back of his head.
It's the fight game, shit happens.

Hopkins is clearly #1. Hopkins has actually calmed down a lot. Back in the day he was the dirtiest, grimiest fighter I'd ever witnessed. Look at his fights with Robert Allen and Antuwon Echols,

Golota I would actually try to **** someone up in the ring if they did what he did. Such a thing would piss me off.
Bernard should have been placed above Hatton.
