Seriously, I picked Diaz to win but it doesn't bother me that he lost it was an incredible fight but I had a sour feeling throughout the entire card. John was robbed, not only that he was robbed in his first fight in the USA, with the lowest purse in his championship career and was booed throughout.
Atleast everyone got to see that John is the real deal, I hope more of you pay attention to him in future.
Were you impressed by John or somewhat disappointed? What do you think?
I don't think "home town" should have anything to do with it. That's bullshit and that's one of the things that hurts the sport. John won the fight clearly and that was a bullshit decision IMO.
If the Celtics outscore the Lakers in Los Angeles, they get the win. Why should boxing be any different?
you shut the f#ck up you f*cken bag of crap i have seen the fight moron your god got what was coming to him pay back is a bicth and you dont like it get over it scum:bottle:
The Ring magazine correspondant went to see the fight he scored it for John over JMM
Fightreport.net got hold of the fight too, they scored it for John. Thesweetscience.com had a reporter at ringside he too scored it for John.
s-a-d-d-o-b-o-x-i-n-g has also seen the fight, and said it was a legit John Win.

I agree they robbed john of a deserved victory... if they rematch it cant be in houston.
I bet you haven't seen the fight, so you need to shut the f.uck up. It was a damn close and I had Chris John winning it

I'm with you. John didn't do enough to win a decision in Juarez home town, especially when Juarez swept most of the later rounds.
the only rounds Juarez won were the last two the 2nd and the 9th and the 2nd and 9th were close
I see your point. I do agree that Juarez landed the harder shots but he seemed to just be plodding forward eating 4 shots to land 1 and that's why I couldn't give it to Juarez. I thought it was a good, exciting fight but I was disappointed in the outcome. But thank you for pointing that out. I guess it really wasn't a robbery when the judges could have been scoring it like you did. I'll have to watch it again because I didn't score it round by round but I felt that John won it comfortably. What a great comeback Juarez started to make.
Thats what I don't like about scoring, because I came out feeling that John did better and won too, but my scorecard didn't reflect that. Its because most of the rounds that Juarez won were close rounds, while most of the rounds that John won were complete blowouts.
Very rarely do I ever say the word "robbery".. But in this case a Draw.. was plain theft.. Juarez.. won 3 - 4 rounds tops.. This fight wasn't even close

It doesn't. personally I had Juarez winning the fight. I gave him the first 2 rounds and the last 5.
When you get past all of Johns flashy movement and pity pat combinations the story off the fight was how effective Juarez was with his jab. He was snapping John's head back all night, he was putting in body work every time John held him behind the head, he was putting money in the bank for the later rounds, and it payed off big.
This fight was just like the Funeka Campbell fight. One guy doing all the fancy boxing, the other guy doing all the actual work.
Umm. NO. THat is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
i think he meant that all john had to do was win one of the last two to guarentee the win and he couldnt manage it
Im surprised at the decision, I thought the judges would have scored it for Juarez, even I though John should have won.

Yeah I though the decision was poor as well and felt really sorry for him. I wasn't sold on him before the fight, though his record was a bit padded, but he impressed me last. He's a good polished fighter and should do well in America.
:You_Rock_
I thought John won too. I had only seen some footage of him against Marquez so that was the first time I really saw him fight. I was impressed, he is a good technical boxer and was pretty enertaining last night. I hope he keeps fighting these type of fights and he deserves them.

John is a great fighter. Slick, skillful, and deserves credit. It was very sad to see him getting booed, then end up on the wrong end of a shady decision. Clear UD, IMO.

John is a really good fighter and I thought he won clearly as well. He's a technically solid boxer who's awkward at the same time, he'd beat pretty much everybody at 126 IMO and would become a threat at 130 when he moves up, I doubt he can stay at 126 for too much longer.
