I'm not polish but when I go to fights like the Trinidad-Jones fight which featured Andrew Golota and last nights fight with Adamek, I seen first hand how many Poles love to support their fighters. These guys are completely rowdy and are even crazier then hispanic fans, any pollacks in this forum? I dont really see much
I'm on holiday in new york at the moment and got tickets for the fight in advance. It was a great night of boxing, especially the houston super middleweight knockin out the local dominican on the undercard. I knew the arena was gonna be full of polacks but didn't realise how intense it would be made for a good atmosphere and great fight. I was neutral in support at first but after seeing how many polish were there decided to support Banks after cheering him in i discovered i was sat behind his mother and spoke to her before the fight, lovely lady. Rushed off when he got knocked out. Most of the arena was curtained off but what was open was full, think there was about 5000 there. Banks lost the fight before he entered the arena, couldn't seem to keep his left hand above his waist or attempt any sort of defence and when he hurt adamek couldn't believe he had and sat back and admired the work instead of finishin him off.
Any Polish fan here?
I certainly am a polish fan. My favourite is Mr Sheen, as he shines umpteen things clean.

Was it sold out last night?
There were over 5,000 people last night mostly Polish and the rest were Dominican(what I am). Adamek does have a large following but at the same time the Arena was half closed off. So while it looked like a sell out it was acutally less then half full. However the only half that was available for tickets was jam packed
