Freddie Roach to train Vanes Martirosyan again!

Feb. 26, 2009 from Fight News We are pleased to announce that after a 1-year stay in Houston, Texas, Vanes "The Nightmare" Martirosyan (23-0, 14KOs) has made his return back home to Glendale, CA. Vanes is very excited to re-unite with his former trainer Freddie Roach, and ready to start training again at The WildCard Boxing Club in Hollywood, CA. "It saddens me to leave Ronnie Shields and Houston after a very productive one year run, but my team and I made a tough decision and believe this change will be best for my career at this time" said Martirosyan. "I cannot thank Ronnie, Brian Caldwell, and Creed Fountain and the rest of the guys at Savannah Gym enough for the many hours they put in with me and for all that I learned during my time there". "I would also like to take time to thank Dr. Albrik Nazarian for being a great friend and mentor during my stay in Houston". So do you think vic can beat izzy or rafa? and you never answered my question does vic drive a yellow lambo? no Vic doesnt drive a yellow lambo and he is back in australia now... he doesnt drive period when he is here in US. I think VIC can beat anyone any given night that is at the same weight as him... not many guys in all of boxing have his power P4P and it would be real hard for anyone to argue that.

Hey bro like I told you I've watched his fights, the one you wanted me to see and I wasn't impressed. I'm still waiting for the day he actually gets televised. He seems to have no love from Arum how long is going to take before he finally makes a televised under card? when he makes it... you will know ;) don't worry too much.

dont mind this Roholio kid bro... he is actually Vanes' biggest fan here and hasn't missed a single post about him since early 2008... he will admit to it one day. as for Vanes' move... I guess he just figured he needed a change... he will definitely have much tougher sparring here at WildCard, and looks like Freddie is working real well with his new assistant Michael Moorer (former heavyweight champ). Freddie might have a better canvas to work on now, so to speak. They know why they did it, so I give them the benefit of the doubt. I do agree with you guys, Shields was working well and being in Texas couldnt have been too much fun.
