What's Floyd Mayweather Jr's worth...

well if u go on ability and status based on record he deserves a lot. If you see it on a business side, hes not worth more than 12 million, Floyd is not liked at all and if u matched him up with non-superstars (Forrest, Clottey, Berto) nobody would buy it except true boxing addicts like us. Now u have Manny Pacman, hes well liked and real exciting he can sell a good amount of ppvs.

Manny Pacquaio has a guaranteed $13million with his May 2 fight against Hatton... so what do you guys think? If ever Manny and Floyd decided to meet, shoul it be a 50/50 split?

Only 8 million for a Pac fight as huge a star as Pac and May are? You have got to be kidding, there is more than enough to go around especially if Pac beats Hatton convincingly. If Pac can stop Hatton Floyd would get 20 million or more. Yeah this is right too because Pacquiao is also a massive draw... the fight would be massive, it would have buy written all over it and would be the biggest fight for years to come. It would generate A LOT of cash for both parties to remain happy.

If he comes back it will be pricey because a fight against all three that you stated would have buy written all over it. I think Floyd would accept $15,000,000 because he would easily make the other $5,000,000+ from ticket sales and PPV buys... it would be a massive event regardless of whether you like him, dislike him, or neutral towards him, so I picked $15,000,000 (which is just about in the middle of what they both want). It is like I have said before... $8,000,000 guaranteed for Floyd to come out of retirement is way too low, and demanding $20,000,000 guaranteed for him to come out of retirement is way too high... its as simple as that.

Depends on who he is fighting, you dont get 20 mil for fighting Mosely but he should get 20 for Pac. Floyd knows this, 20 mil for Mosely is a number for them to meet him somewhere in between, thats what negotiating is all about. Hey the man is retired, if they didnt want to see him fight they wouldnt be offering him even 8 million which is alot of money. When you retire at the top youre in such great demand. u gotta remember that there is two fighters to pay not one and a fighter like pacquiao is gonna want alot of money too, so i think 8 should be enough if he wants to be greedy thats up to him but i really dont think he's gonna get 20 from fighting anyone.
