There was a really sh*tty piece about this on a rival site (I mean sh*tty as in the writing, I couldn't get past the 1st paragraph to see if the content was good or not) That got me thinking exactly what these two men could've accomplished as pros. I mean Teofilo and Felix are two intriguing fighters to play the "what if" card. Many think they would've dominated the pro ranks almost as decisively as they did the amatuers, but take a minute to think about how many great Cuban fighters there have been in the amatuers? Dozens, but lets focus on the big men, there was Stevenson, Savon, Balado, Gomez, Gonzalez, Carrion, Solis, the Castillo brothers, Garbey, and Yoan Pablo hernandez. I know that doesn't cover them all, but thats as many as I could think of. Anyways, all of those men had success in the amatuers and on the world stage, yet Juan Carlos Gomez has been the most productive of them in the pros. granted Solis looks like a stud if he could do some roadwork. Stevenson was a monster, but the amatuer game doesn't always cross over. There have been several American heavyweights that were the same, like Buster Mathis Jr. and Tyrell Biggs and so on and so forth. So I believe that stating that Stevenson and Savon would've two of the greatest of all-time or would've beaten a lot of the greats is a bit premature and on some levels irresponsible. What do you think?

They would have rule same way, both were physically and skillwise superior to almost all heavyweight at the time.
I think it's very hard to tell if they could have been successful, especially for Savon considering how different the pros and amateurs are in terms of style, maybe they could have adapted, maybe they could have ended up being like Jorge Luis Gonzalez.
