Who are the top 5 boxers of the last 15 years?
My list...
1. Roy Jones Jr
2. Floyd Mayweather Jr
3. Lennox Lewis
4. Manny Pacquiao
5. Bernard Hopkins
I'm personally not a huge fan of Bernard, but I put him in front of Oscar: boxings first ever six weight world champ - who's knocking around for a top 5 place.

Roy jones
mayweather
pacquiao
hopkins
trinidad
:lol1: swap RJJ for JMM and you can make Pac appear even greater.
No need. Jones Jr. is one of my favorite fighter.
JMM is trash. The boxing world would not even recognize this overrated bum if not because of Pac.
Manny Pacquiao
Roy Jones Jr.
Oscar Delahoya
Erik Morales
Marco Antonio Barrera
Nope...:alucard:
1. Roy Jones Jr
2. Floyd Mayweather Jr
3. Lennox Lewis
4. Manny Pacquiao
5. Bernard Hopkins
You all can't include Floyd in this. He didn't turn pro until damn near 1997 and didn't fight any truly elite fighters until the tail end of his career (Oscar and Ricky). Floyd's greatness IMO was mythical. It was mostly based on greatly the "what if" and "he would have" theories.he was ranked top 10 P4P for 9 of those 15 years dude, same number as oscar.
98,99,00,02,03,04,05,06,07.
And Pac didn't turn pro until 95 himself and PBF won his first title BEFORE Pac.

Why? Save for Hopkins the fighters on your list went up in weight and beat fighters that were physically bigger than them, Lennox almost always either had size, reach or height advantage and in his prime still got knocked out by bums smaller than him. What makes him the man?
He beat everybody he ever faced and he obviously couldn't move up in weight. He was the undisputed King and a ATG of the Heavyweight division. Pac lost to worse fighters than Lewis.
pacquiao, mayweather, hopkins, jones, maybe morales i dunno ........all those guys could be mixed and matched to make a top 5, its really hard to make these lists
Hell Tszyu was a dominant force at 140 for nearly a decade, he did take a loss midway through but after he won 13 straight and 12 of them were title fights. He had 6 fights with the IBF. He also unified the titles. Beat every talented man in the division.
My list these are not in order:
1. Hopkins- Holds the record for most defenses at 20, beat any challenger unified.
2. RJJ-One of the most talented man ever at 160, held the title of division king for 16, won a title at MW, SMW, LHW, and HW, owned the LHW and every possible belt, unified the titles, 24 title fight wins.
3. Lewis-reigned as HW king for 5 years, held a belt from 97-2003 with 2 losses throughout, beat every man he faced, unified the titles.
4. PBF-pound for pound one of the best ever(unfortunately), retired undefeated, at 130 and 135 was dominant against the best competitors, did win titles in 5 divisions, P4P 1 for 4 years?
5. Is really interchangable. SSM, DLH, Trinidad, Morales, MAB, Pacman, JMM, Holyfield, Wright, Tszyu, all deserve mention. You can make an argument for anyone of those guys.
I'd say the fifth really is hard to figure out, where as the top 4 are pretty obvious.
:wt:
Lennox is the man and you know it

In no order, because it is hard
Bernard Hopkins
Oscar De La Hoya in his prime (but im unsure about him in top 5)
Lennox Lewis
Eric Morales
Manny Pacquiao
People that barely missed
Roy Jones Jr.-Got knocked out twice and lost Horribly to Calzaghe in a sissy fight, but in his prime he did have skills
Floyd- Ran from good oposition but was a damn good fighter skill wise
Marco Antoino Barrera-beat a ton of great fighters he is close
Tito- One of the greatest welterweights of all time and had power all the way to middleweight
Sugar Shane Mosley-This man can go up into the top five if he unifys the belts at welter
Evander Holifield- From 94-2001 was a good force in Heavyweight

Lennox Lewis being in that list is a tough call, and him before Pacman and Hopkins? Nah.
1. Roy Jones Jr
2. Floyd Mayweather Jr
3. Joe Calzaghe
4. Bernard Hopkins
5. Manny Pacquiao
Roy for obvious reasons.
Floyd because he dominated from a defensive stand point, and it doesnt hurt to be undefeated.
Calzaghe because he's undefeated and only for that reason. Regardless of what you think about him, its difficult to go 46-0 period.
Bernard for obvious reasons.
Pacman because he is the man in the spotlight right now. Now lets see if he can keep the spotlight on him.
Joe Calzaghe infront of Manny Pacquio and bernard??? that is shit
he didnt start doin shit until 2 yrs ago. He had the WBO belt for 10 years. that is a paper belt. He should be nowhere near the top 5 in the last 15 years.
