I know it officially went down as a split decision. How many people really feel that was the right score?
Shut the fu.ck up. This shit is as old as my shit 9 hours ago.
Mayweather is sissy who left boxing when finally competion came.
Hatton would probably go to decision if wasnt JOE CORTEZ who didnt allow Hatton to work inside.
"didnt allow hatton to work inside" = didnt allow hatton to hold
review the tape...cortez did nothing wrong
When i watch that fight and the hatton fight i noticed ONE big simularity..
Mayweather carried both of them round after around, after round..and couldve put both down whenever he really wanted too..
STFU!!!!! You don't know shit... Floyd could ko 1 anybody in your opinion.... Just STFU!!
nah... ricky pushed floyd to the brink because ricky was so physical, but it forced floyd to KTFO hatton.
dlh was content to go to the cards so he didnt force floyd out of his comfort zone and floyd was happy to win by decision. both guys knew the rematch would be lucrative so they didnt really force each other to dig deep and hurt the other guy.
whenever boxers box, there's a unspoken contract that if one of them crosses a certain line, then all bets are off and someone is going to get KTFO.
guys that respect this line are dlh, pbf, rjj, hopkins, etc... they arent going to risk crossing the line because they can usually win without crossing it.
boxers that dont respect this line are hatton, pac, vasquez, r. marquez, etc... these guys dont care about the line and fight to the death.
"the line" cracked me up
taht shit was funny. im gonna try to green k you
i feel he MIGHT of been able to stop ricky sooner but i honestly dont feel he was "carrying" DLH.

What you guys dont agree?? Is that what youre saying? Look floyd gave a C+ effort in the hoya fight AT BEST....at f*cken best.. U actually think he gave in 100% of everything he had? NOT EVEN CLOSE.
In the hatton fight it was beyond obvious that he was just waitin for that idiot to tire down and in early rounds just carry his ass to something watchable until then.. Hatton had his moments early on but seriously guys..he just dodged whatever hatton brought to the table moved around the ring he gave probably a B effort even if that..

lmfaooooooooooooooooooooo!
the only reason a SD was given was because a) the fight was promoted by GBP and b) they wanted oscar to save face for a eventual rematch.
btw i had floyd winning 8-4 but could possibly entertain an argument for 7-5
It shouldn't have been a split decision. Floyd won decisively, albeit a very boring fight. IMO the PPV was a disaster. Over 2mil PPV buys, and they put together a boring undercard & a main event that was a snoozer. I think the split decision was wishful excitement for the judges who were probably nodding off.
I had Mayweather seriously up like 9-3 or 10-2 I believe. DLH threw a lot of punches but I think he actually landed maybe only 1 or 2 solid punches, head or body, the entire fight.
