coming off a 2 year layoff deserves a tune up if he wanted one without any criticism.
it better not be ppv like cotto/jennings was though... what a crock... a tune up for $50 ppv????
disgraceful
yeah but if he loses you know the haters would jump all over it even if Floyd looked slow or past it
haters will hate if floyd looks one step slower even in a convincing win against a prime opponent.
at least he's got a valid excuse just in case he lose.

If he came back ( Which i think is unlikely ) he should take a tune up but i don't think he will and that could get him beaten if he jumps straight back in the ring with a quick fighter like Mosley

Mayweather wouldn't be coming off a loss, Cotto was. Big difference
i was just going to say that. i would be disapointed because mayweather doesnt need a tune up imo. A tune up against a TOP welterweight would be satisfying. Clottey, berto, collazo. someone like that not jennings. Although jennings was a good enough tune up after cottos first loss
Both. I want to see him take risks and build the legacy that his skills deserve, but I also want to see him KTFO so his arrogance can get taken down a notch or two! LOL :)
i do think he's taken alot of risks moving up from 130 to 154 for fighting bigger guys, but i see what you're saying.. fair enough.. :boxing:
Nah its different. Floyd has gone on record claiming he's better than Robinson, Ali and Leonard. Anything less than a very dangerous fight would be disappointing.
ok thats all you had to say.. do you want floyd in a dangerous fight because you want a good competitive fight or do you just want to see him lose?

and your answer is????
floyd would becoming off a 2 year layoff, he would probably be rusty.. with that being said, i would rather him fight a good quality opponent or a big time mega fight, rather than fighting Jennings
