Any of you geniuses plan on mentioning the great body work that ultimately led to rubio quitting on his stool? I like how a man who beat Jermain Taylor twice, convincingly, still fails to impress fans who can't wait to bring up how unimpressive Kelly is. the guy has 31 KO in 36 fights. And Rubio is no pushover, Kelly made him timid from Round 1 because he felt Kelly's power early. How unimpressive.
I have no idea what Rubio is doing in this fight other than getting beat up.
Maybe he thinks he can catch Pavlik late.
Only Jantuah caught RUBIO early.
The hook that Jantuah caught Rubio with was just plain vicious. It might have knocked out a horse.
to be honest Pavlik has never been a one punch KO artist but yea still somewhat surprising that he wasnt able to KO Rubio as he was basically a punching bag...
idk...rubio didnt do spit for 5 rounds and pavlik couldnt get him out of there...now rubio seems live
pavlik doesnt impress me at all....
With you on that. Never really impressed by him. Not trying to hate, but Bernard showed really how limited this guy is.

Maybe Rubio is tougher than I'm giving him credit for. Maybe his corner should start thinking about stopping this, but Pavlik landing on him flush all night and Rubio barely damaged.
The over 8.5 just hit.
He is a tough punching bag, that is about all Rubio has going for him. I am pretty sure he will finish the fight before we get to the double digit rounds.
