While doing commentary on the Prescott-Toledo fight, Atlas picked Cotto and Pavlik to win their fights. Anybody thinks he'd get his prediction right this time?..Or did he just jinx Cotto and Pavlik? :lol1:
God... Top Rank might cease to exist if both dudes lost on the same night to nobodies...
Atlas would be the most powerful man on the planet if Jennings and Rubio took Cotto and Pavlik out.
He picked Miranda to beat Abraham last year, Mijares to beat Darchinyan, Margarito to defeat Mosley, etc.
He's been wrong about nine times out of ten. There's no jinx, Atlas is just very stupid.
Well Margarito, Mijares were betting favourites and hot commodities most people picked them (I picked Mijares to win not Margs) Miranda-Abraham was about even money. In the fights you mentioned he was going with the majority and in the Miranda fight he picked the person he knew most about.
Teddy Atlas prediction was always right. He always pick wrong guy!
I hope Pavlik gots KO and COTTO too!
my 50k to your 25K that both of them win by ko/tko
he also picked cotto over margarito and i think delahoya over pacman, i hope it aint a jinx or else look out cotto and pavlik lol
Actually no. I think the only ones who are curse-proof are Calzaghe and Pac-man.
He picked Pacman to beat De la Hoya, despite the strong betting odds on DLH.
Nah, he picked Pacquiao over dela Hoya.
When the fight was first signed he picked DLH but then switched to pac the day before the fight if i remember correctly. Pac escaped the jinx cause he had already jinxed DLH HAHA!
I honestly think he just likes going for the underdog and that makes him look bad as far as predictions go. I'm the same way, I love to see a fighter that is not supposed to win overcome and throw it in peoples face. But most of the time when I'm picking I separate who I "want" to win from who "will" win pretty well.
Not really. Barrera wasn't an underdog against Pacquiao. Neither was Pavlik in the Hopkins fight. He just has this knoack for picking losers. :D

I think that is my favorite Avitar.:hail:
Or maybe he simply bets against his picks..if that was even possible. :lol1:

looking at these I can see the logic behind many..... Some of them though are just stupid.
Oh my god those picks were terrible, my example is he picked Judah over Mayweather, Jones, Jr. over Calzaghe (the guy has been washed up since '04), Judah over Cotto, etc. how stupid are some of his picks?
I think he is safe to say he got these ones right anyway... unless there is some kind of curse people have been talking about! :lol1:
I seriously thought I was going to be able to look up Atlas's picks and throw it in everyones face (I know he had had some horrible picks in the past, and had a run of bad luck, but I never expected it to be that horrid). Facts are facts though, and I like Teddy it turns out was quite wrong on this one.
