I lost three pounds once, but it was because I was ****ing a fat chick in a car. That shit will make you lose all the pounds you want.
x2 but she wsn't fat... she was super thick...:luvbed:
the scale we use at our gym.. no matter the surface always has the same read out.. why?
because it's a digital scale and it reconfigures to whatever you put it on.
You step on it.. it blinks for a few seconds to determine the surface and that way it knows what will be the zero weight and then when you step on it reads your weight.
Thats what ours does, but if you put it on carpet it reads heavier than if you put it on concrete.
I've seen fighters at my gym come in over weight because they put the scale on concrete and assumed it was still reading heavy.
People make mistakes, it happens. It wouldn't be the first time its happened.
Assuming that Nate is already extremely dry and is going to have trouble making weight is just that, an assumption. You are not privy to the circumstances, nor his condition.
Even if he does make it he is going to be empty when he gets in the ring. This is a big error on Campbells part.
agreed.. hopefully he doesn't get hurt!
this is coming from a Guzman fan btw.
The scale we use at our gym varies by more than 3lb depending on the surface you set it on... its a digital scale.
My point is that if Nate used an inaccurate scale, he might have stopped drying out before he was on weight, that doesn't mean is not going to make weight, or that he will be drained if he does.
Obviously that went way over your head.

And how do you know how dehydrated Nate already is? This could simply be a situation where the scale he was using to make sure he was going to be on weight was not accurate, in which case shedding the rest of the weight would not pose much of a challenge.
I like your optimism and opposing point of view. Maybe Nate's fine and will shed the 3lbs no problem. We're not insiders and can only speculate..
here comes the resident know it all again
ugh.. maybe because that's what fighters do for weigh ins? that is dehydrate.
It couldn't of been a scale malfunction.. not by 3 pounds!
Most fighters use digital scales now a days anyway.

You got to understand.. he is already dehydrated and lost a ton of weight. You can only drain out so much body weight. If you are fully hydrated it is very easy, when you are not it's hard.. There is no way he could lose 3 pounds of fat weight in 2 hours.

Yeah, my girlfriend did on some Nintendo Wii game. 4 pounds!

I've heard alot of posters say he should skip rope and go into a sauna. How bout skipping the rope in the sauna? That sounds like a sure way to lose the weight...and pass out in the process.
If so, can someone give me an example. I am very nervous for Nate Campbell right now!

jump rope in the sauna and a laxative. somehow i think he;ll still make weiht.
anyone know how many pounds guzman was over when he came in for the campbell bout? i hear it was something ridiculous like 5 pounds? is that right?
3 lbs doesn't seem too much
Guzman was 3.5 pound over weight.. and he couldn't do it.
You're probably right.:nonono:
How the fuck can these guys not make weight? It really pisses me off when this shit happens. How ironic that Nate comes in and pulls this shit after lambasting Campbell.
Guzman????

It depends did he already drain himself to much the before the weigh in? I lose about 2-3 pounds every time i get home from the gym in about the same time.
