From Dan Rafael...
David (CA): arlovski is on the under card of williams vs wright, right?
SportsNation Dan Rafael: Yes.
*****
Joel (NY): Will Arlovski's debut fight be televised you think dan?
SportsNation Dan Rafael: No, it won't be part of HBO's broadcast.
What a misguided choice. Could have gotten a lot of views there.
he trained in top rank gym in vegas for a month and sorry to tell you the guy has got no chin at f**kin all and he does not hit that hard.when your hitting mma guys who are not used to getting hit yeah but compared to boxers he has no power. he looks the part but sorry he is a mma guy he couldnt even hang with a ok super middle let alone a pro heavyweight. and how do i know this because i saw it
Arlovski has good boxing for MMA but he is no boxer, he gets KO'd by any decent HW. Plus, this guy's chin is so fragile, I'm afraid Zuri f.uckin Lawrence can KO his ass.
I dont think he'd fight at HW tho, maybe to begin with but he's probably better suited at Cruiser or Lt Heavy....and dont mistake his power, dude can crack...
Did he win that big fight he had or did that not happen yet?
He got KO'd by Emilianenko in the first round when he tried to do a flyin knee kick.....
I heard Freddie Roach say he has good/great boxing skills and if ANYONE could make him a good boxer, i think it would be Roach...
Is Arlovski going to be boxing or mma fighting? Also, is Arlovski the guy that was trying to get a fight with Valuev not too long ago?...
Btw, Arreola will be fighting a TBA opponent on the undercard and will be televised..
I don't see him doing anything in boxing. He should just go back to MMA
thats kool give andrei a shot who knows ? after all its an mma fighter taking a chance in a different sport..i would :boxing:like to watch the fight if it was televised
I think Arlovski can do very well in boxing. I don't see him ever holding a title belt, but if his handlers are patient, and he trains exclusively in boxing, gets some experience, he can do well.
Well, according to Roach, Andrei has very good natural boxing ability. Throws fast straight punches, performs combos very fluidly, and punches hard as shit. He's a bit chinny, but now he can focus on a boxer's defense, instead of an MMA defense (looking for and protecting everything from head to toe).
I wish him well in his pro-debut. Hopefully HBO televises it!
Did he win that big fight he had or did that not happen yet?
Nah. Got knocked out cold in midair.
He was doing good standing, then he got overcofident.
