You put you list after my comment so clearly i wasn't aiming at you.
your list is a boxing watchers list you want to know why?
Because it's reasonable to assume that you could have followed those boxers careers with the exception of Louis, and I can understand you raving after 1 boxers career that you watched in retrospect, i did it with Duran.
But some of the lists do not comtain a single modern boxer other than RJJ and tyson.
for example:
how can they be a 18-25 year old favourite fighters? does he not watch boxing? it's natural to idolise the people you watch above people who where great years before you started watching.
I love Naz not because he is P4P all time but because i sat on the edge of my seat watching him live, I admire SRR but he doesn't invoke emotion in me when I watch him.
he's not my favourite because I never saw him box, not really, I have seen his fights but never saw him fight if you get my meaning, I recognise him as the greatest but thats not the same as favourite, thats why a journeyman like Jason Booth makes my list above SRR.
I just think people who don't watch boxing put names on paper from a list they saw, because they don't watch boxing enough to get emotionally involved in watching someones career develop, the highs, the lows thats what makes someone a favourite not a W/L column.
Sorry i got u wrong i thought (without properly reading the thread) that u ment there were too many guys that were newer and perhaps not as good. My bad
Not really a fair comment, alot of the guys on my list are modern fighters i prefer them as i know them better and have had the privaledge of watching their careers unfold liveYou put you list after my comment so clearly i wasn't aiming at you.
