In the Corrales/Castillo fight.
"We're all standing here in Mandalay Bay Corrales coming back....Castillo's in trouble, Weeks steps in and the fight is...OVER!!!!!!!!!"
And they say Showtime announcers show no emotion.
As a Hopkins fans I loved the commentary from Lampley and Merchant at the end of the Trinidad fight.
Lampley: Oh, huge right hand! Huge right hand!
....
Merchant: Bernard Hopkins has done it...Bernard Hopkins has put in himself up there in the list of all the great middleweights.
Margarito eats those punches like M&M's
lol, something like that against mosely
Obey art is dope, nice sig.....
OHHHHHHHHH LOOK AT THAT!! LOOK AT THAT COMBINATION!! AND HE'S LOADIN UP ON EVERY PUNCH!!
YOU KNOW YOU DREAM OF FIGHTS LIKE HTIS BUT VERY RARELY DO THEY LIVE UP TO THE EXPECTATION, THIS IS EVEN MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER DREAM OF
-Manny Steward on Gatti-Ward
"There's nowhere else in sport where you will find greater passion, greater intensity, greater courage, greater commitment, greater sheer guts than what these two guys are showing," HBO's Jim Lampley exclaimed as the final few seconds ticked off the clock. "This is boxing at its best." Morales/Manny 1
"He lands a right hand and a left hand and he's on the canvas for the second time in two fights, and for the second time in two fights he's not going to get up."
-Lampley, Jones-Johnson
"And that's that! Jones gets his vindication via a first round knockout!"
-Lampley, Jones-Griffin II
"Tonight the referee will be the most important person in the ring besides the fighters."
-Foreman, Jones-Ruiz
"I believe that was a hometown stoppage, a disgrace! An absolute disgrace!"
-Merchant, Cotto-Corley
-"He's seriously hurt, he doesn't have his wits about him. He is reacting simply from instinct and courage."
-Merchant, Trinidad-Vargas
From the Byrd-Ibeabuchi Fight:
Jones Jr: Byrd is very smart hitting Ibeabuchi in the body to take some of the power away from him later in the fight.
Merchant: Those punches couldn't take the power away from a mouse.
(Merchant and Lampley laugh)
Jones Jr: I don't know Larry, go in there and get hit and see if you still think that way.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Merchant: I've got to admit a certain prejudice here. There are times when I watch Byrd, if I was a referee I'd want to take a point away from him for non-performance. This is a lot of junk that he's giving us here.
Lampley: But Larry, it's called the manly art of self-defense.
Merchant: Well, I don't see anything manly about this.
"He's not gonna get up it's over"-steward on jmm vs paquio jmm being dropped the 3rd time boy was he wrong
"i tought jmm won both fights vs paquio"-max
"i agree"papa
I can't remember the quote, or which fight it was, but my favorite moment was when George Foreman was still commentating, and Larry Merchant said something stupid as usual against boxers, and George was so furious at what he said that he was gripping the microphone so tight that he was shaking it, and just standing there with a glued on smile while gritting his teeth! I knew that George wanted to kill Larry at that moment, and all I could do is yell at the TV saying, "DO IT GEORGE! KNOCK HIM OUT!" LMAO! I'll send good Karma to anyone that remembers that moment, and which fight that was.. That was hilarious! LOL :boxing:
*SMACK-SMACK*

"A right hand... and a left hand... and he's on the canvas again, for the second time in 2 fights... and for the second time in 2 fights, he's not gonna get up, he's been knocked out again" - Lampley
RJ against Glengoffe. :(
I've already quoted Jim Lampley so man times, but here's a larry quote I love:
"Wake me up when something happens...." *knockdown* "Well jim they woke me up"
And my favorite steve albert quote is:
"IT'S SEEMS LIKE DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN!!" -After Corrales gets point deductions in the clottey fight for the mouth piece and lands some decent body shots.
"Is it too early, Jim and Emanuel, to demand a rematch" -Larry Merchant before the start of Barrera vs Marquez fight.
"Lets do it AGAIN" - Larry Merchant after the Barrera vs Marquez fight.
"This is the reason to love boxing, no moment in sports matches this." Max Kellerman before Cotto vs Margarito.
