I gotta give Nazeem props but what I am saying is that it's Hopkins word over Tito's. Ramming your head face first into an opponent is cheating imo too yet i see a lot of hopkins fans talk about cheating and dismiss his dirty tactics as cheating when someone brings it up. Hopkins leads with his head, no doubt about that. Whether it's out of bad habit, in an effort to slip punches, or a blatant cheat, is up to debate. I never dismiss Hopkins' dirty tactics, but he's not the cheater his critics make him out to be. The things he does are just clever, old school tricks of the trade, that people don't use anymore these days. At least he's not like some of the old school guys were back in the day, rubbing his glove in an opponet's cut, putting substances that can cause tmeporary blindness on his gloves, etc.... I consider Ricky Hatton to be a much dirtier fighter than Hopkins.

Yeah, me and Vick get along like champs when we talk about pretty much anything, aside from Hopkins. I just don't see the point in bringing up Hopkins being an ex convict, who you yourself don't find trustworthy, in a thread that has nothing to do with him. His hands were clean in the Tito wrap thing. And yes, Naazim Richardson is the man. Best trainer in the world right now for my dollar. And no the comission didn't do a follow up, but I'm prety sure that an official was there to oversee the incident and they were the ones who made Tito re-wrap is hands. Just to add Tito used a technique called "casting" to wrap his hands that night which is a practice where you wrap a fighter's hands in gauze and then layer it with tape and then repeat the process over and over again which apparently makes the fist hard as a cast.

He was forced to re-wrap his hands for the hopkins fight after Nazim Richardson complained about it being taped illegally. I've heard the stories about hopkins alleging that he did.. but I've never heard of him being found with anything out of the ordinary by a commissioner or anything in his wraps. because an ex-con (who isn't very trust worthy) claims something doesn't make it true. so I just wanted to know if they caught him red handed like they did margarito?
