Teddy Atlas definitely cursed the shit out of Margarito! The mullet couldn't prevent this one!
Watching that fight it was exactly what I expected the first 4 rounds, but I was noticing that Mosely wasn't really getting caught with a lot of shots (until the 3rd with that nice left hook), and was breaking Margarito's momentum by clinching.
I said I wouldn't be surprised if Mosely got the upset UD win. But WOW! I was shocked last night! Margarito ate some monster shots but I did not see Mosley knocking him out. I couldn't believe my eyes. That was an incredible fight. Mosley deserves a lot of respect.
But who knows, if Atlas would have called the upset, Margarito probably would have won the fight by early KTFO.
Sucks to hear about that illegal handwraps shit.

well, i'll give the credit to shane, and not an analyst who's really bad at picking fights.
shane fought an incredible fight. he was countering over the jab every time margarito threw it, and not just with a right hand, but also coming back with 2, 3 and 4 punch combos. i loved his lateral movement in this fight, because it wasn't pointless or wasted lateral movement. he fought the fight at his range, not at margarito's. every time shane got caught either in the corner or with his back to the ropes he grabbed margarito and walked him out to the center of the ring. the only time he got into toe-to-toe exchanges was in the middle of the ring were he could pivot, hold, move, and use both hands freely.
really smart fight. the fight that cotto should have fought. i have a feeling shane studied the hell out of that cotto vs. margarito tape.
i'll reserve judgment and wait to see what comes of the plastering the hands story, but it's not looking good.
