you know what it is? after the 1st round knockdowns......it gave manny the impression that he wasn't doing well anymore in comparison. people subconsciously look back at the 1st round and how marquez would go down and when manny wasn't getting the same effect anymore (marquez got used to manny's handspeed. it was a shock to him in the 1st and he wasn't warmed up yet) it automatically made people feel like manny wasn't doing good. manny won the 1st 2 rounds clearly. going into the 3rd he was up 20-15 with 10 rounds left. very tough mountain to climb for jmm. it's not like he blew manny out or dominated. manny did win a few rounds after and was competitive in most. jmm made a HUGE mistake not taking the immediate rematch. he would have whooped that one dimensional manny. bad management decision by nacho. very bad. However, when Manny won the first round, he was ahead by 4 points on MY card. 10-6, 6, 6, 6, 6 round. Not like the judge who scored incorrectly. Regardless, I had Marquez still winning 8 (perhaps more, not TOTALLY sure) rounds. Which is all he needs. I'll rewatch the fight and give a scorecard. But, regardless it's not hard to imagine him winning 8 rounds, especially in that fight.

barrera didn't look like barrera in the 1st fight but he was still in his prime or close to it. if he had taken manny lightly or wasn't into the fight who's to say? i had pac win both against marquez tbh. it's the knockdowns......killed jmm in the scorecards. morales was past prime when he fought manny. shows how good erik is tbh. remember a shot erik almost beat diaz for the 135 belt. david is not as bad as some think.
