i know we still got israel vazquez, jmm, rafael marquez, juan diaz, rocky juarez, fernando montiel, jorge arce, ulises solis, jorge solis, abner mares, and others but half those guys i mentioned are on their way out...
and our young mexican american prospects (victor ortiz, chris arreola, vicente escobedo, robert guerrero, etc.) dont really have that classic mexican warrior mentality that we've come to love...
as it is our boy urbano antillon is being held down when this vato should be a top star by now...
^ no the real ones who need to gulp and pray for salvage are them dumb blinded ass filipino pacfans who STILL dont kno shit about boxing. Because after seein marquez <-- masterful boxer/counterpuncher who dominated pacquiao and GOT dominated by floyd last night, yall better hope to GOD that floyd and pac dont get made, cuz marquez survived 12 rounds with floyd, but i'd be willing to bet lots of MONEY that MONEY will KNOCK pac the f@CK out! :boxing:
but again, mexican dominance in boxing has come to an end this year, but we'll come back:boxing:
105-108 is ivan calderon territory
112-115 is nonito donaire/vic darchinyan territory
122-126 is gonna be juanma lopez territory
juanma marquez is getting old that leaves abner mares and victor oritz left to carry the mexican banner. not too bad i say.
Yeah, that kid is one mean MFer, the damage done to Ponce de Leon's brow with a single shot was scary. A match with Gamboa should be interesting.
you have a whoreish mouth; you're the effeminate version of lisa lampinelli.
the only time that mexico and wealth - by the way - that has to be a first - should ever be in the same sentence is when in reference to the abundance of subhumans that occupy the place.
now where's my fukken tecate.
Yeah and lets not forget that Puerto Rico has streets lined with gold. Why would I live in Beverly Hills when I could live in the slums of Juana Matos where the average annual income is 1000 to 3000 dollars a year. :nono:
Pacman did all the work, he must be half Puerto Rican...blood test him :D . He really did fuk the up they couldnt handle Pacman destorying their top fighters and than the rest fell apart.
What are you talking about aside from some Mexican fighter Puerto Ricans are among the most hyped fighter, who run their mouths until some one shuts them up..
lol Shit country? lol You homosexual by nature ass n*ggas would be another Dominican Republic if it wasn't for America holdin your helpless hand. You Ricans actin like Mexico is ass or somthin, thats what I never understood about you dumb ass people. Like Mexico and Brazil aren't the two wealthiest countries in Latin America. You did know that right? lol Both Brazil and Mexico by themselves are worth more then Australia and a handfull of European countires. (You'd be surprised how much "farm land" is in Europe)
Meanwhile...Puerto Rico lmao, your blacks fight your fights just like in America, and America keeps you from starving. And you're talkin about sh*t countries? When you people need help to just to live right? lol Even with that help you Prats still manage a way to look like a bunch of dumb ****in morons in the Public eye. Everyone who isn't Rican knows you got the worst Parade in New York lmao, not only that but you guys BEEN in New York and you still get shitted on by everyone lmao.
But ok...I'll take the bait..
lol What if, mind you, "WHAT IF"
What if Mexico was America's property and we got all those hand me downs like you bums? lol You think we put out a grip of fighters now? lol Yo if we got the same support you do, the oppertunities for our kids to fight would be rediculous
And you're talkin about shit countries...lol You forget your Puerto Rican or somthin?

Exactly MaYa! goddam this dude could be a motha****in teacher to you uneducated hoes...
callin mexico a shit country when u from sum tiny ass islant that aint even a real country... just silly.
and if mexico was a U.S territory too shiiiit, u wanna talk about mexican dominance? we'd ****in own the whole sport lmao
what happened was margarito got beat by the better guy. and what? atleast we can admit that and dont hide under the covers like yall did when cotto got beat...
you know what it is?
after the 1st round knockdowns......it gave manny the impression that he wasn't doing well anymore in comparison.
people subconsciously look back at the 1st round and how marquez would go down and when manny wasn't getting the same effect anymore (marquez got used to manny's handspeed. it was a shock to him in the 1st and he wasn't warmed up yet) it automatically made people feel like manny wasn't doing good.
manny won the 1st 2 rounds clearly.
going into the 3rd he was up 20-15 with 10 rounds left. very tough mountain to climb for jmm. it's not like he blew manny out or dominated. manny did win a few rounds after and was competitive in most.
jmm made a HUGE mistake not taking the immediate rematch. he would have whooped that one dimensional manny. bad management decision by nacho. very bad.
However, when Manny won the first round, he was ahead by 4 points on MY card. 10-6, 6, 6, 6, 6 round. Not like the judge who scored incorrectly.
Regardless, I had Marquez still winning 8 (perhaps more, not TOTALLY sure) rounds. Which is all he needs. I'll rewatch the fight and give a scorecard. But, regardless it's not hard to imagine him winning 8 rounds, especially in that fight.
whatever i dont want this thread to turn into pacquiao discussion or puerto rican/mexican beef thread... i dont know why yall had to come in here and start that mess, shit callin mexico a shit country when your from sum tiny ass island, thats just silly...
To be honest with you, I don't think the knockdowns were enough. I've watched the first fight about 5 times, I come out with Marquez winning, every time.
Even the second fight, a much closer one, just has the feel of a Marquez win.

lol The **** outta here, Paq's feast on the smaller division's legends while he was a "the new guy" without even facing any of the other "new guys" doesn't even rate as somthing worth mentioning.
I mean yeah, the casual fan and you flips praise that kinda shit....but giiit the **** outta here lol.
You can't keep a straight face and tell me Soto or Guzman would outpoint Barrera and Morales at that point of their career...
And you can curse me if I think David Diaz at lightweight holds as much weight as a pillow case...
quit kiddin urself, margo is on the same level as david diaz. he looked pathetic against a quick power puncher.

Why do you gotta throw that 'flips' shit in there?
Just call 'em 'Nuthuggers' if you so feel the need.
come on now Tua, you cant honestly sit there and tell barrera and morales Lost fairly to pac, especially morales who looked like a skeleton in the 3rd... but its all good i am over that shit but i prolly wont ever get over that marquez robberies tho...
i think barrera loses to manny no matter what. bad matchup for marco.
the 3rd erik morales fight we didn't really need to see. he was really weight drained. i agree erik was past it in all 3 of his fights. he had a little bit left in the 1st and halfway through the 2nd but the wars took it's toll.
the marquez-pacquiao were not robberies. i can see how people would have the 2nd for jmm though. i don't know about the 1st though. i know jmm did very well in a lot of rounds but enough to overcome a 10-6 round? i don't know about that.
i think manny beats marco at any point in marco's career.
jmm no matter what manny does will always be a pain in manny's ass.
i think manny was very , very lucky he caught erik at the end though. erik a year or two before would have hurt manny bad. the manny at 122 and 126 anyway.
barrera didn't look like barrera in the 1st fight but he was still in his prime or close to it. if he had taken manny lightly or wasn't into the fight who's to say?
i had pac win both against marquez tbh. it's the knockdowns......killed jmm in the scorecards.
morales was past prime when he fought manny. shows how good erik is tbh. remember a shot erik almost beat diaz for the 135 belt. david is not as bad as some think.

About Barrera, I get you. I never tried to make an excuse for any fighter, to be honest. But I can see things and it just didn't look like he was focused. Even when he was focused on merely surviving, he looked more impressive against Pacquiao.
