I love how the commentators were trying to make it seem like the gameplan that shane had devised wasnt a perfect game plan. They kept comparing it to bhop/pavlik, but the reality is that mosely just was in a fight against another stationary target about 5 months ago by the name of mayorga. He barely got knockout that night. If naasim was in his corner he would had did mayorga like tito and odh did mayorga.(early round knockoout).
Richardson is a great trainer, but the only reason? You don't think that some how, some way, Shane the man who was fighting, didn't have the most to do with it?
boxing IS and ALWAYS WILL BE a TEAM SPORT. the fighter is the one who gets (and deserves) most of the credit. but boxing without their seconds and physical trainers wouldnt be the boxing we kno nd love
props to mosley and the team
Richardson devised the gameplan but it was up to Mosley to execute it, it was a joint effort, they both deserve their props, not just Richardson.
Great minds think alike lol
Said exactly the same thing i said
I think Shane deserves a little more credit then Nazim still lol
He came up with the Perfect gameplan but you know that shit has to be excuted
and shane did his job...
Both worked and seemed to gel well together
U kno u diggin that pad work!! thats why u commented on it... yeah I like how my left hand is always guarding my head while throwing with the right as well.... hehehe... :boxing: what else can i say.... im a natural
lol.............joking
Thats what Im saying, they both get credit.. you cant say ALL credit goes to trainer... thats not fair to shane
True.....Shane is a special fighter and Naazim is starting to show he's a special Trainer
This shit is getting really weak. Give Mosley the credit. With or without Shane was still physically just as strong as Marg and would not back down.
That's always been Shane he doesn't back up a lot. He even tied up Cotto on the inside of their fight at times. Shane did this I'm sure training helped but Shane went in the ring and did it.
not true... he had a good plan, but Shane had to exicute it
I hate when everyone try to give ALL credit to a football coach or trainer, they not the one in there.... no matterhow good a trainer or coach u have.. if the athelete dont exicute u can forget about it
shane would have beat marg reguardless.... marg cant handle skilled BOXERS...
I agree and disagree.
While execution is important, I think what a fighter does in preparation is just as important if not more important. A good coach or trainer won't give you a gameplan that difficult for you to execute. A good trainer will make the gameplan play into your strengths.
Nigel Benn once said, "The hard part was the training, the fight is the easy part."
not true... he had a good plan, but Shane had to exicute it

im not trying to hear any comments from someone that has horrible padwork technique
