Where would Hatton stand (P4P) if he beats Manny?

According to the Ring rankings Hatton is currently tenth. A win over Pacquiao would probably stick him up to number three with Pacquiao and Marquez moved down putting Hopkins and Calzaghe as number 2 and number 1.

It is a big acheivement when 99% of people are tipping him to lose. Hatton would be the no1 p4p if he wins. Hatton beating Manny, is bigger than Cotto beating Margarito, Calzaghe beating Dawson, Marquez beating Diaz. The only way I could put somebody above him, is if the winner of Margarito vs Cotto 2, beat Paul Williams.

If Hatton beats the no1, he is the no1. Considering he is top 10 already.

I don't see it happening, but if Hatton wins, where does he stand in P4P rankings? Depends on how he beats Pacquiao. He wins by split decision he gets to around number 8; unanimous decision or by a flash KO in a fight where he is behind on points, probably 6 or 7 depending on how Cotto and Margarito performs; Hatton wins by KO in a fight where he dominates Pacquiao, I'd say within 5; if he gives Pacquiao a total beatdown, probably around 3 or 4 depending on how Marquez takes care of Diaz. Number 3 behind Calzaghe and Marquez would be the highest I can see him in. Pacquiao on the otherhand, depending on how he loses will slip from 2 to number 4 in the top 10 P4P list. Tito Trinidad won over then number one Dela Hoya and he only slid up from #4 to #3 I think. This is an odd post. I didn't say EVER that I don't respect Hatton, so I'm not sure where you got that "respect" comment from. I don't understand why anyone would want a fighter to die either. What would he have to do to become #1?Beat JMM and the winner of Cotto/Marg II. and even then i'm sure Vasquez would be ranked higher by some. I can see him beating JMM but not Marg or Cotto.

If Hatton beats Pacman then I'd put Calzaghe at #1 and Hatton at #2.

Unify 140 after beating Pacquiao would be good steps then maybe move up and beat one of the top guys at 147, all of which probably won't happen.
