Roy Jones Jr. has always been closely associated with his beloved hometown of Pensacola, Fla., but he hasn't fought there in 10 years. That's about to change.
Jones, the all-time great former champion in four divisions who turned 40 last Friday, will face Omar Sheika at the Pensacola Civic Center on March 21 in a light heavyweight fight, John Wirt, CEO of Jones promotional company Square Ring, told ESPN.com Monday, confirming a report last week on ESPN2's "Friday Night Fights."
Sorry to give you a dose of reality pal. RJJ has been shot for about 7 years now. Everytime he goes up in competition, he gets schooled or ktfo. He keeps taking on cupcakes, beats them, then starts calling out another big name like Calzaghe. Enjoy our sheika fight.
when i have i said otherwise, PAL???
I do want him to retire, but it's not for me to decide... I'm not just going to ditch him because hes at the very end of his career... I will support him as long as he fights, and wish him a safe victory.
Well it is Omar Shieka, so i'm guessing he gets a victory and a safe one at that.
I agree, please provide a link whenever you're ready.

As a fan then I would think you'd want him to retire.
