Collazo: "There is no way in hell Berto won by 116-111"
Kellerman: "Yes ur right there is no way in hell he won by that score"
Collazo: "It should have been 114-113 all across.."
:ghost:, either way Class by Collazo
I don't think he admitted defeat. To me, what it sounded like was, that he was pissed that one judge had him losing by such a huge margin. And he felt like, if he was to lose, at least don't make it seem like he got his ass beat badly.
I agree.......:boxing:
Bertos own corner, and his father all though he was behind. Berto's father going in to the 12th round said this.."U need a KO son"
"no matter what happens, I still love you".
They all know he lost.
yuo so my guess would be berto vs judah would be nice
Andre Berto would beat on Judah quite easy but I wouldn't mind watching that, It would be a great fight while it lasts, but It's just that he's now in the mix for Margarito , Cotto and the other top dogs and I think fighting Judah at this point would be a .. step down, Clottey fight would be interesting and the ultimate "test" before taking on Margarito/Shane winner.
Collazo said he watched the fight again and there was no way Berto won more than 6 rounds of that fight, so I guess he's saying he won because of the point deduction.
Yeah, Ledderman screwed that round up. Collazo barley landed as much as Berto, yet he still gets the round.
I am happy to see Berto still fought his ass off when in the ring with a man like Collazo. I think he still needs a few more fights like this before getting in the ring with Margarito or Cotto.

Collazo showed a lot of class after the fight. He knew he gave a great account of himself in an excellent fight. Not whining about the decision makes him look even better.
Ya I was impressed myself, a lot of fighters would have been crying and making a scene about the decision but Collazo showed nothing but class, it was a close fight and it could have gone either way, nobody was robbed.
Anyone find it funny how Ledderman gave round 7 (Berto landed around 25-27 punches and Collazo 5-10 and got his eye busted) to Collazo,
I officially give up on his scoring

Yer I know. Collazo did **** all for those two round (7 and 8) and Lederman split them for Collazo then Berto. Lederman sometimes does that though, he just stops looking at the fight I think or sees one good punch land and fills his card in with 2:00 minutes still to go lol.
He needs to retire :) asap
he never said it should have been 114-113 berto all the way across. he just said the scores should have ben 114-113 all across, and i interpreted that as 114-113 one way or the other.
i felt lou won the 1st time around, without scoring each round, then on my 2nd watch, i scored it 114-113 for berto, but I just scored it 114-113 for collazo on my 3rd official viewing ( i say official because i watched it once casually in between the 2nd and 3rd viewings). thank god for my DVR! Either way, this one was close, and no way lou was winning a close one with al haymon and dibella backing berto....
Anyway, great fight! do it again DiBella!!!!

Ledderman giving round 7 to Collazo was his worst ever. I couldn't believe it when I saw it and wished someone had called him out on it. Lampley or Merchant might of. But then again, nobody ever told Bob Papa that Berto wasn't really dropped in the first round. The lack of an eight count should have been his first clue.

He believes he won that fight, he just doesn't want to be an asshole so he may get another opportunity.
I guess ur right, I think he wanted the scores to be as close as possible to make himself.. look.."better",
But like I said before, hats off to him for showing true class and how could u not like the guy after that fight?
I'm just glad Berto was in a real "fight" :) he can learn from this
