I don't see mayweather accepting %40, i honestly don't see mayweather accepting less than %55. Mayweather is a former P4P king. Hatton is burger king, there's a difference. :D

Hatton can bring all the money in the world to the table but he will never be a hall of famer! last i checked, no one was calling out Hatton, well no one with substance anyway. i just hope this fight happens cos i'd love to see hatton get pounded to a pulp.

On the contrary infact. He beat Dela Hoya - aged or not - and took a big risk in doing so. Dela Hoya was at least 20lb naturally bigger, had a big punch and only 18 months ago was in a close fight with Floyd Mayweather (best fighter on the planet). It wasn't an easy fight on paper for Manny. Compare that with Ricky Hatton. He got out worked and embarrased by Floyd Mayweather. He looked rubbish against Lazcano and quite faded plus he didn't prove anything against gun-shy big-talking Paulie Malignaggi. Compare that to Pacquio's achievments and one must wonder how you come to that conclusion. Ricky is at the end of his career. Manny is still in his prime. If they met, I predict Manny would have more speed, workrate and movement for Hatton. He would be made to look silly and desperate at times in that fight and we'll see the 'old' Hatton emerging; the swinging slugger. I totally agree. Bottom line? I dont think Pacman is a very intelligent person. No disrespect to him, but i just think he does what those around him tell him to do. I read that he never really had an education while growing up. Common sense would tell u that 50% of a fight with Hatton, would be more than recieving 75% of a fight a fight with anyone else other than Floyd. I just dont see what's the problem signing for 50/50 plus UK ppv revenue. Sounds like a sweet fuking deal to me! And what has Manny's education got to do with all of these? hatton is right about bring just as much if not more money to the table. look at it this way, if hattons fans wanted to play big bank vs little bank, whos got more money in their wallets, it would no doubt be hattons fans. their currency is stronger for starters, but hattons fans have no problem spending their money too and traveling to see him fight, where as for pacquiao, only the some of rich from his country travel see him or gov officials.being part filipino and have been rasied around and in a filipnio community, i can tell you that the spending of hattons fans almost triples compared to what pac's fans would spend. i could go on for days talking about this that and the other when compared to who has more cash and who is spending it like the host cities of the fights want them to spend it, but the bottom line is this, manny could have half of a very huge pie, or he can have 3/4's of a smaller pie that won't even come close to what the half of the big pie would yield.................
