Who a bigger Global superstar, Lebron or Wlad?

Kobe would be a much bigger star if he didn't get it on with that girl in Colorado, that was a pretty big hit to him. Yup. Thats bullshit, though. How many professional athletes DONT go around doing shit like that? Better yet, how many rich, powerful and attractive men in general dont do shit like that? Id say maybe 5% tops.

I had a friend return from a busniess trip to Hong Kong... he said basketball courts were littered with little Chinese kids wearing Lebron James jerseys. I think it depends on the area which star is bigger, but considering China is not known as really a boxing nation, and the fact that they make up 88% of the world population, I'd say James is bigger worldwide. I had honestly never heard of Lebron James before this thread. Basketball isn't very big here in Canada, except perhaps for the Toronto area. Really? Why am not surprised.....

Boxing is MASSIVE all over Asia. Basketball is more popular than boxing in Asia. In the Philippines, basketball is the #1 sport not boxing, even though Pacquiao is HUGE over there.

I don't know why people would like basket ball or football over a real sport like fighting.

Is Lebron big outside of the US? I'll leave that for someone to answer. He just won a Gold Medal at the Olympics which was held in CHINA with loads of kids wearing Lebron jerseys. I know Lebron James. I can't name what team he plays for though. Basketball isn't really a popular sport in England. I think it is good though. Better than American Throwball, and Baseball.
