He should just retire because he isn't going to fight ANYONE younger than him....he only has a decent win over Lacey, Kessler, Bhop, and RJJ. ONLY 1 of those guys was wrth Calzaghe's time which is Kessler....so he should either fight Dawson or hang it up and shut up.....I want to see him fight again but not any more old washed up fighters I wana see him fight like he did against Kessler or retire!

I understand him, but as a fan, I want to see him against Chad Dawson. If it's that easy he should do it. But okay, maybe it's not the greatest way to end ones career. First sensible post, and good one. You can see where he's coming from. In his last 3 fights he's unified the SMW division beating it's agreed #1 today. He beat the LHW #1 becoming the top dog at that division, whom went on to show he was still a top p4p guy and LHW #2 in beating Pavlik whom was one of the only other biggish names out there hyped for Joe. In his last fight he got to look at lot better at LHW, showing some skills in NY where he dreamed of fighting, against a legend, albeit somewhat past it. He's already fought longer than he intended so it is understandable, but at least he's not ruling it out just yet, retirement is just most likely.
