I seem to recall hearing that HBO was planning to do 6 new episodes of Legendary Nights in 2008.

Does anyone know which fights they are using and when we might see these new episodes?

I'd rather them do it on an older fight in the 80s or so, than a more recent fight that we all lived through and remember the build-up, post-fight talk, message board discussion, etc.
After reading all the nonsense that people say though, because of this series (which is indeed well-made), I could really care less if they make another one.
They can't do new ones cuz there haven't been any interesting megafight events for years. It ain't just about the fight, it's about the story and the event. That's why they did De La Hoya vs. Trinidad. Bad fight, but interesting story.
The only good one they didn't do already was Hopkins vs. Trinidad. But they won't do that one because Don King owns the rights for the footage and HBO doesnt want to pay him for it.
They'll probably do some wack ass dlh or hopkins fight. How bout doing one on Pac/Barrera, or Pac/JMM I, or Vazquez/Marquez III, or so another interesting fight.
I dont think any are planned, I think i remember reading that in one of dan rafaels chats
Last I read in a Rafael chat was they had planned to do another series, but decided to put it off for now.
man.. i love the work HBO does especially with boxing, i hope it comes back this year
u catch any of the ringlife episodes they did with arreola and salita?? pretty cool stuff
