I have watched a few of Timothy Bradly's fights in the past which i think he fought very well in. I saw him beat both Cherry and Witter where i think that Bradly proved that he possesses a lot of skill.
So I just thought I would make a thread asking everybody what they think of him as a fighter? :boxing:
I think people are WAY over inflating his skill level. He is strong, he has fast hands, pretty good instincts, but he is a very raw fighter.
He is rough around the edges and still has a long way to go.
Yeah, I agree with this. It's really not cool when people hype up a young, unproven fighter. Rarely does that fighter live up to the hype that people create for him, then when he loses he's dubbed "an over-rated bum who was never really that good anyway." Same old story.
Bradley looks quite promising... that's it. No more, no less.

I think he's top notch, hope he gets a Hatton fight.
Yes, both him and Berto are relatively untested. It looks at though Bradley will be fighting Kendall Holt next year so that will be another good test for him. I think Berto will struggle with Collazo as he is a tough fight for most 147 pounders. Overall, I think Berto's handspeed will enable him to win a PTS decision. It is nice to see them both step up in class, don't mistke my distain for the boxing authorities giving them belts to early for lack of admiriation for their (raw) talent.
Both are bing pushed to early and i would hate to see to potential P4P fighter (in 5 years or so if well managed) ruined because of it.
Lacy should be a warning to the promoters but he won't be because all they see is $$.

I don't really have an opinion. He looks OK as a fighter but has yet to prove himself.

Bradley's got great speed and pretty decent power. Reminds me of Berto in many ways.He is like Berto, untried untested and got the belt he holds waaaayyyy to early.
I think as he goes along in his career he might posses more and more power. We all know he has good speed anyway he has proved that.
I got a irrelevant question to some people that have been using this forum for a bit if you don't mind me asking it here...
1. How come I have uploaded a photo within its size limit and file size limit and it hasn't shown up yet..?
2. What is this rep power and points thing about..?
Please answer as soon as you can... Cheerz!
Yeah, obviously he has a lot to learn he is still young... every young fighter has a lot to improve on throughout there career when they start off, I think he will learn more stuff as he goes along and become a great talent to boxing in the future.
Id say his power is deceptive, looking at his KO percentage you might think he cant hit but he floored both Witter and Cherry in his last two fights. For me whats more important is he seems to have the style and mentality that takes people to very successful careers.
So yeah I think he could turn out to be the real deal.I hope so, anyone who beats Witter is alright in my book.
No, he really doesn't have power much less mad power.

looks good, has skills but hasn't really been tested yet.
Witter IMHO is the worst champion of the alphabet title era, in the over 20 fights i have watched him in he has only looked good in 1 or 2. but that aside he still had to beat him and I had him winning by 2 rounds + the KD, the idiot who scored is 112-115 witter should be barred from judging ever again.
I don't think he really has the power to hurt and of the top fighters which could be an achillies heel, but hopefully as he gets better he will be able to compensate with movement and outworking opponents.
He should however stay the f*ck away from Hatton for a couple of years and play the Witter "Ducking" game, Hatton eats light punchers for breakfast and Bradley isn't nearly as slick as Malinaggi.
