I gotta say, i really think COLLAZO takes this decision pretty handily. He doesn't really have KO power, although he had Hatton reeling in round 12, but i think he is really gonna outbox Berto.
Remember, Berto hasn't faced anyone on Collazo's level yet, and Berto is very small. Collazo on the other hand, is a pretty big welterweight, and is gonna look huge next to Berto.
I think Collazo wins 8 rounds, sweeping the last 4 or so rounds.
Thoughts?
although i am rooting for lou, i worry about his chances in a pick em fight that will most likely be close.
why you ask? i give you two reasons....
1) Al Haymon
2) Lou Dibella
Both of these untouchable guys represent Berto. The last time a close fight between a guy represented by these two people and another fighter went down, it was in JT-Hopkins I. Al Haymon and Dibella worked with Jermain and 'coincidentally' he got the nod instead of Bernard, the champion who won the fight in the eyes of most....
Lou ain't winning a close fight unfortunately, so hopefully he can end it with an uppercut. berto doesn't like punches that come from underneath. i kind of doubt a ko/tko on either end though....
Im not too sure this fight goes the distance.
I think you make some valid Points.. However If you want to use Hatton as a comparison.. Then I must say.. That Berto is more technically sound and Probably hits harder than Hatton..
I think it's a pick'em at this point.. I like both guys chances..

Berto is going to have hell with Collazo's south paw stance. Shoulder roll + south paw don't mix.
