I kind of think David Diaz has similarities with Hatton. Don't get me wrong; Hatton would smash that boy's face in, but there are similarities. I remember seeing that when Diaz fought Morales. I thought Diaz won btw. But I was like 'damn, he's like Ricky' With less pop and worse footwork and less handspeed. David Diaz is a poor man's Ricky Hatton. yeah he is a poor man's ricky. he might have been a 135 champ but he's the same size as ricky. 5'6 or so and he's fought most of his fights at 140 and 147. that's why i see the fight going similar. ricky will be more competitive of course.

Hatton at 140 is nothing like Diaz or Oscar. Hatton has good handspeed very good power stamina and brutal to the body. I notice majority of the people who are saying Hatton will KO Pac had registered on November, December of 2008 and Jan 2009. I also notice their location in Europe and have European fighters on their avatars. Correlation does not imply causation sir lol

Yeah, he's not what he was against Tszyu for sure. He looked kinda bad in the Laczcano fight but redeemed himself against punchless Paulie but Pac man is a different sort of animal I think he'll have his moments. But Hatton isn't a special fighter, Manny is. He'll just kick his arse because he's better. Sometimes; that really has to be all there is to it. lol

When Concepcion people were ask about Juanma they said he was moving to 126, so we might see Lopez vs Concepcion at 126. But if it happends Concepcion have to be a champ or something because Juanma is moving quckly to 130 as well. i don't know if bernabe can go to 126 effectively. he's only 5'4. the boy is thick though. jml will win belts at 122 , 126 and 130 definitely. maybe even 135. i just hope he ktfo the indonesian joe calzaghe some time soon.

I would like Pac to lose so the Pinoys can focus on Donaire, Nietes, Concepcion. They love Pac too much. That was the winner of Holt-Bradley can fight Hatton for all the marbles. That way the pinoys can be cured of their Pac monomania. and maybe then pac can fight Valero. But Pac will probably win goddamn it. So my plan goes out the window. donaire and concepcion have plenty of years left. donaire , if he gets his chance , can clean out 112-115. i don't see montiel , darchinyan , mijares , etc. beating him. concepcion will rule 122. (once juanma lopez moves up to 126. :) )

you guys can quote me on this. hatton-pacquiao will be similar to diaz-pacquiao. it'll be more competitive and hatton will land more but all in all it'll look like diaz-pac. in fact......although more competitive , ricky will get stopped a bit sooner. diaz is one tough cookie. i don't think ricky could have taken the punishment david did plus ricky will press pac more which means manny will throw more shots.

Diaz-Was only one division above pacs normal weight, wasnt a huge puncher diaz was at 140 in the amateurs. diaz fought a majority of his fights at 140 and above. in fact diaz has had more fights at 147 than ricky.

Hatton couldnt even bully Malinnagie what makes you think he can bully a faster,quicker guy with more punching power and better boxing skillls!!!!!! Paulie was a slippery boxer. Very different from the aggresive offencivly minded Pac. He has great movement, but he wants to engage. He needs Hatton at range where he can move in and out, and Hatton is very good at closing the gap very quickly and mauling on the inside. He has trouble with big strong opponents, but Pac is physically smaller. Pac needs to damage Hatton as Hatton moves in. If he doesnt, he may be in trouble.

i can see the fight being difficult for hatton, he has never faced someone with that same speed, intensity, movement and combination punching. whats more hatton cuts easily and manny has a great accurate left hand that will find the target. but all things considered, manny is coming down in weight, he has never faced someone who fights on the inside like ricky with his strength and body punching. imo the ricky that forced kostya to surrender will turn up, i agree with you cosmichorn hes going to get the TKO.
