This has been a question floating around the boards with different people saying different things...so lets settle it.
Simple question, simple poll.
Who is the more difficult challenge for David Haye?
And this means what?
Wlad openly requested to see Haye, and David openly backed out of the fight to go for the older fighter.
But I suppose thats what all the "great" british fighters go for, the older guy who either fought once in last 4 years or just been out of his prime for a while.
Calzaghe, Hatton, Lewis, you name them.
Not6 even close to true.
Haye was calling out Wlad for as long as he has been a heavyweight, he even called him out face to face, and Wlad rejected.
All he has done is deny Haye a shot, so Haye took the harder challenge in Vitali to get to baby bro.
Wlad and it's not even close at this point.
Granted he does not have much chance against either, David will at least have his moments against Vitaly. Wlad, on the other hand, would not give him even a second of the fight. Younger Klitschko has every single advantage over Haye that matters in this sport.
You are right that it is not close, but way off in terms of which brother.
See poll.
There is no way Haye can beat Wlad, but he has a definite chance to defeat Wlad. He has speed and power, and Wlad has a below average chin.
Haye cannot hurt Vitali, or last for 12 against him.
He has a chance against baby bro.
Haye won't land anything on Wlad...and if he did land, Wlad would recover, he has a big heart and his chin is actually underrated.
Wlad is too smart, has very good defense, good footwork and an excellent jab that would control Haye and keep him out of range.
Haye's left hand is too low, he is wide open and susceptible to RIGHT HANDS....Wlad's steelhammer right hand is fast, accurate and very powerful, he would break Haye's glass chin.
Easy KO win for Wlad
Every year Wlad sends Corrie Sanders a fathers day card! LOL:boxing:
Wlad rarely ever goes 12 rounds you moron
He has 46 KO's in 52 wins
Wlad would KO Haye with the first clean punch he lands
If that's the case, he should fight him instead of Arreola. Why is he letting his big brother (how cute) fight his battles for him?
And you also mis the fact that in about every fight Wlad does not get hit. How is Haye going to penetrate Wlads defense? Wlad is technically one of the best schooled boxers of the past 30 years. His jab is arguably the best in the history of the division.
I haven't seen Wlad fight anyone with Haye's speed.
He isn't a fat statue who will stand there all night and get jabbed to death. Wlad will have to find him and work for a change.

Watch Wlad/Sanders.
Vitali is more respected amongst fans because he actually comes to fight unlike his brother who would rather jab u to death, and at the same time, bore the fans to death for 12 rounds. Therefore the majority of fans want to see Wlad flat on his back for fighting like a little twat!

Vitali is the tougher fight IMO. 3 to 4 years out and he comes back and demolishes Sam Peter no problem, did a much better job than what Wlad did against Peter.
Whats the difference between Haye fighting Wlad or Vitali? What makes Haye vs Vitali less huge than Haye vs Wlad? Vitali holds a belt like Wlad, and by many he is considered the better of the two brothers. What exactly is it that makes Haye vs Wlad huge? Because it gives you a hope that Haye could defeat Wlad but you know perfectly well he is crushed against Vitali?

Vitali. Why do u think Wlad backed up and let his brother take on Haye. Wlad/Haye would've been huge had it happened. Yet Wlad would rather take on Arreola.

People keep forgetting that Samuel Peter is pretty terrible. We're not sure how much Vitali still has or whether or not he'll be able to keep up with a fast heavyweight like Haye. Wlad would have most likely been the bigger challenge.
lol
i sure hope it was just because he didn't take monte seriously......
if he fights like that against vitali...... :nonono:
It's too late for Haye to change his fighting style now, or even sharpen up his defense.
He only knows one way, go in head first and look to land the big right hand as soon as.
I think he knows he'll have to be cautious and fight smart against Vitali at some points but Haye is a wild horse and you got to let that shit go.
You can't really put into practice what you'll need to do or what you're going to do in a fight against Wlad or Vitali by fighting Monte Barrett, because to be brutally honest, Monte Barrett is shit!
Are you kidding me?!?
Haye's left hand came up at least 5cm in his last fight! That's good progress if you ask me!
lol

i'm off the haye bandwagon.
i don't like how he didn't work on any of his defense at all while jumping to heavy. he fought the same was against barrett as he did against cruisers. not good.
no way he beats vitali unless vitali is completely shot and vitali still looks okay in the peter fight.
wlad he has a chance. vitali no chance at all with vitali's good chin.

Haye will take care of Wlad after dealing with the tougher big brother, dont worry about it ;) Wlad never had any intention of fighting Haye, he backed out everytime Haye called him out.
The only reason Haye is fighting Vitali is because he is the tougher fight. Haye wants the best, he always has, its as simple as that....when Vitali was still "retired" Haye was after Wlad cos he was the best, u didnt see him going for the number 2 at the time - Sam Peter. Now Vitali has a belt and is back in the game he is the best hence Haye wants to fight him
Need more proof Brooklynbomber?
Wladimir Klitschko’s (51-3, 45 KOs) 11th round TKO victory over challenger Tony Thompson (31-2, 19 KOs) last Saturday night in Hamburg, Germany, heavyweight hopeful David Haye told Setanta Sports that he wasn’t at all impressed with Wladimir’s victory, saying “All he does is hold and paw with his jab…every time he’s gotten in there with someone fast, someone with heart, he has been knocked out. I’m that guy.”
Haye (21-1, 20 KOs) went on to say that he’s disparate to fight Wladimir first, “before someone else knocks him out before me.” Haye was very critical of how Wladimir fought against Thompson, commenting that “if he fought me the same way he fought Thompson, he’d have gotten knocked out in three rounds.”
For the past few months, Haye, 27, has been eagerly pursuing a bout with Wladimir, whom he sees at the number #1 heavyweight in the division at this point. Wladimir, though, hasn’t been equally as interested in giving Haye a fight, instead telling him to fight some people before he starts looking for a title shot. Haye, however, hasn’t given up his interest in landing a fight with Wladimir, and has continued to both criticize and call him out almost on a daily basis in the media.
Unlike most of the fighters that want to fight Wladimir, Haye has a voice in the media given his huge popularity in England and elsewhere in the world. This isn’t something that Wladimir can ignore simply and then have it die down for lack of media attention. Haye has been getting a tremendous amount of attention with his challenges to Wladimir and will continue in the future to get attention.
Wladimir, however, hasn’t shown any signs of weakening, though he doesn’t really have much choice now anyway, because he has a mandatory challenger, Alexander Povetkin, the IBF mandatory challenger that Wladimir must face next. After that, it’s up to him whoever he wants to face, which if Haye is still calling him out, it may likely be him.
Haye hasn’t decided on who his next fight will be at heavyweight, apparently nailing it down to 10 heavyweights. In the past two weeks, there have been reports of him fighting Monte Barrett. However, Haye ruled that out on Saturday night, saying that Barrett wasn’t popular enough, he hadn’t ever beaten any top fighters and that he was a “journeyman” and because of that, a fight with him wouldn’t interest the boxing fans. Haye said that whoever he does face, he’ll be a top 10 contender in the heavyweight division. He doesn’t want to take a lowly guy, like most heavyweights, as he wants to make a name for himself by fighting only the top guys.
In that regard, if he’s at all successful, Haye may quickly find himself as the most fan friendly and popular heavyweight in the division even without a title. However, he’ll be much better off if he can knock off a title, even if it’s WBA heavyweight title, which is currently held by Ruslan Chagaev. I doubt, however, Haye would be interested in pursuing that title, as he seems to want nothing less than the titles held by Wladimir.
