I think we'd all kill to see them fight again. But logistically, Pac doesn't need to face him. On paper, he's beaten him twice, and that's all that matters. If Pac decided to fight him again, it would speak volumes to me. (Not that I don't already respect him.)
But for him to face Juan again would mean he felt, deep inside, that there was still unfinished business there. And nowadays, nobody does that against a guy they have close fights with. Hell, look at Chad Dawson with Glenn Johnson. He wouldn't even give him a second match, let alone a third.
JMM is probably the best fight for Pacquiao out there, money-wise and career-wise, outside Hatton and Mayweather. I mean, If Pacquiao will be fighting JMM the third time, they will probably be doing it in at lightweight, JMM will be a lot older by then which will be an advantage for Pacquiao and the fight will probably be for recognition as the true lightweight champ.
Glenn Johnson doesn't offer anything similar on the table for Dawson so it would be illogical for Dawson to go that way career-wise.
Just watched the round again (not YouTube version). A nice, solid left hand from Pac caused the cut. The replay shows it clearly.
Lederman also scored it for Manny.
____________
Just watching the 10th. Pac looks strong here. His early attack on JMM is pretty sweet. JMM almost went down again.
Round 10 for Pac. JMM landed a couple of nice shots when Pac's mouthpiece fell out, but it's not enough to win the round.
And that cut is NASTY!

A cut is hardly any reason to score a round for a person, it's the punch that causes it that you score for, and Manny didn't cut him with anything eye-catching. Infact, I didn't even see the punch.
Both fighters were very evenly matched, and it really shows you why the fight is still talked about. Though I felt Juan won the fight, I've never claimed him to be "robbed". A robbery is what happened to Emmanuel Augustus in his last fight, or Santa Cruz against Casamayor.
Close fights cannot be robberies.
I had to separate them somehow! Jeez. It was damn close, but if anything, I thought Pac just scraped it.
He must have hit pretty hard. Soft punches don't cause cuts on your eye.
I might watch this fight again, I have a nice quality version here. So much better than watching a shitty YouTube vid.

My point exactly, a lot of the rounds were close. That is just why we need to see Pac-JMM 3 after Hatton, because Mayweather is too chicken to face teeny-weeny Pacman :D

Round to Manny. He cut JMM's eye and looked better at the end.

I watched the video 3 times and each time I scored it 10-10, and I never give out 10-10 rounds, ever.
Lampley was spot on in saying the round was on the table with 40 seconds left, and then shortly thereafter the referee called time to have to doctor check Juan, breaking up the action, and neither fighter did anything after that to steal the round.
