Why are judges so old?

because if they got guys who can see well the fights would be scored fairly

The age range should be 30-55 years old. After 55 you've been around long enough. And any of them making strange decisions should be evaluated.

are you guys kidding me? you cant just hire a bunch of boxing writers with no experience or track record didn't i say qualified boxing writers? those guys watch more fights than judges do. i'm not talking about just any sportswriters. i'm talking about guys that follow boxing for a long time. how many times have you seen the boxing writers scorecards and it's more accurate than the official judges?

Yea! And get a boxing writer to referee the bout too nah.....dan rafael would pass out his 2nd lap around the ring.

nothing can compete with money though.

they should do away with official judges. they should have a random draw of qualified boxing writers/reporters who are attending the fight. have it done right before the fight too to avoid bribery. Thats not a bad idea, anything to help clean the sport up.
