This is a much different situation; in short Antonio Margarito has proved himself while Miquel Cotto has not. Hmmm.. well Cotto is a 2 weight champ.. He won 32 consecutive fights.. 26 By KO.. He is 12-1 in title fights In those 12 fights he took four 0's (beat undefeated fighters) He has headlined PPV fights.. I am not sure what you think he still needs to do to be "proven"

:thumbsdow There was/is plenty of time for him to avenge his loss and solidify his claim to the WW crown. That should take priority over giving Cotto another shot, anyway. As much as I dont like your posts, I have to entirely agree with you on this one!!!!!!!!!, Margarito spent years being avoided.. I think he has the right to be a Bit picky right now and go for a few Big money fights.. We still know Williams is NOT a big draw..
