Arreola is a fat slob, he's not even top 15
but that was one hell of a fight. Im a Klitschko fan but Im looking for some wars not the past 3 fights I have seen. Im not blaming Wlad these guys just dont want to fight. I enjoyed Arreolas last fight but he would get destroyed by either Klitschko. I was pissed of when the ref stopped the Rahman Klitschko fight cause I wanted to see Rahman get ko'ed Lewis style.
I'm just happy the Klitschkos have a popular heavyweight like David Haye willing to fight them.
:fing02: Haye has done a good job of creating interest and getting some peoples' hopes up, the way Peter did last year.
Personally I think Haye's appeal is several times wider than Peter's.
You are right though. The bottom line is it doesn't matter that Vitali will stop Haye with little doubt. What matters is that mainstream sports fans will become interested in a HW title fight that should at least be exciting for as long as it lasts.

Peter was never brilliant though.
I'd pick alot of guys from 175 up to beat Peter. He is so plodding, so predictable and his power is overrated because he has no explosiveness. Worst still he showed a lack of heart. David Haye would kill for that man's chin.
Haye will get mauled by Vitali but he'll go out on his back.
Arreola is a few notches below Haye. I understand why Haye, to an inexperienced boxing observer, LOOKS like a legitimate challenger. Arreola on the other hand is quite clearly an exciting third-tier fighter who could never rise through the ranks the hard way.Yea definitely, I'm not convinced that Haye is up there either, I have to see him fight a legitimate, tough HW.
I just can't stand these dellusional Haye nuthuggers. They're all living in a fantasy dream world. Haye hasn't done jack shit in the heavyweight division.
You are missing the point completely. Half of the people who appreciate Haye aren't even saying he'll win, they just applaud him for injecting some life into a miserable division who they feel is being ruled by 2 gigantic robots severely lacking in personality.
And the fact that he hasn't done shit? That's what makes it even better.

Arreola is a fat slob, he's not a top 10 heavyweightYea man, now that I think of it, I would pick
Wlad
Vitali
Haye
Chagaev
Valuev
Iggy
Thompson
Gomez
Povetkin
even Dimitrenko and Brock to beat Arreola.
He just doesn't do it for me. Exciting, but way too flawed.
Scratch that, Arreola is the real hypejob here, he's not close to top 5.

I think Klit fans are mostly happy because like Haye fans themselves, Vitali is well favoured over Haye.
Then some of the naff fans rack on non stop about how Haye was a hype job bum, even if he managed to trouble Vitali along the way.
I like the Klit brothers, especially Vitali i've always been a fan of his. But to not get behind an athletic exciting new fighter who can bring a whole new look to the division instead of 2 guys beating fat bums who won't make the most exciting fight in the division (Vitali Vs. Wlad) is just stupid imo.
Why would you want the Heavyweight division to continue as it is?
If Haye wins then it will encourage Heavyweight fighters to get in better shape so they will be able to beat him. People will realise that you can't win against someone like that with the stamina to only go 2 rounds.
I have nothing against fighters like Haye or Arreola. If there are fighters out there who are better than the Klitschko's bring them right up and let them have the rightful spotlight.
However in all reality there is no fighter like that. Haye is a hype machine due to his own advertisement, and Arreola is a hype machine as a result of American media. Sure these guys bring excitment and both of them should have there shot, I actually heard that Wladimir wants to take on Arreola or Valuev next.
The fact of the matter is, Vitali is 37, and is only in there for the big fights, that belt means nothing to him. Soon he will be out of boxing and will strictly concentrate on politics, while his younger brother will be collecting the straps, until he is undisputed. If there is someone that is good enough to take his place, by all means put him to the front stage. And that is exactly what is happening with Haye, and soon enough Arreola.
Not at all, I am enjoying every minute, but are you forgetting the innumerable amount of Brits claiming a win on Hayes part, and crying their eyes out that it is not Wlad in there. They know very well Haye has no chance with Vitali, but atleast a shot with Wlad.
The way I look at the division is

Everyone Else.............
We all know Haye has a slim chance of being successful, but we boxing fans are actually happy that there is some excitement in the division that is SUPPOSED to be exciting. You seem to dislike that.
Wlad methodically destroying opponents without ever taking a punch is exciting. Vitali putting on one of the greatest performances in HW history is exciting.
To you maybe some guy talking trash in a mall is more exciting. But everyone who follows the HWs knows that at least ten of today's fighters would be favored over your anointed one.

Nah. It's nothing on the basis of what he's doing in the ring.
Wlad and Vitali are living their dream. They've both had dominant wins in which neither of them even got touched. You can talk about whomever you like, but we all know what's going to happen.
Not upset just amused how quickly you guys cling on to a "savior" when in reality Haye has little to no chance against Vitali. I am actually looking forward to this fight, and would have rather had Wlad in there. A 37 year old Vitali will defeat Haye...

Because someone other than the Klits is actually making the HW division worth talking about.

None of the Klitschko fans are "unhappy" from what I've seen. There's basically 2 new guys that people are talking about, Arreola and Haye, Arreola hasn't really been calling out the Klitschkos(from what I know) and Haye has, so the Klit fans are responding to that.
