Now, before I ask this question I want to say that I love the United States of America and I love Americans.
It is inscrutable to me as to why Brits and Americans squabble so pettily on this site.
Anyway, I just wanted to ask, do you think the United Kingdom has done well in terms of boxing over the years considering that our nation is far smaller than Texas?
Personally, I think we have had a decent amount of boxing World Champions, but we could have done better seeing how popular boxing is here.
Vegas is the only place in America that fits that description.....
****ing yanks. The trouble with the ****ing yanks is, they've no ****ing sense. I had some dick in Los Angeles actually ask me where I learned English. English, ****!
Australia is the nation on Earth with most in common with Britain, even though I love the USA.
Well, most Aussies are of British heritage!
From language, to Head of State, to beautiful women! We have so much in common.
They love their pubs like us, use the same slang words, play rugby and cricket and have the same sense of humour.
What??
Rep. of Ireland probably has a lot more in common than the fat yanks, I'd even say Aussies have far more in common with us, including slang such as bollocks etc.

Sorry to talk about football on this forum, but Arsene Wenger is the most successful Arsenal manager in history!
Anyway, let's get back to the greatest sport on Earth.................
Whuppeeedoo....hasn't got a patch on Fergie.
I am a proud Englishman and also a proud British man, but this is just pathetic.
America was founded by Englishmen and our two nations have so much more in common than any other two nations on the planet.
For one - boxing!

Do you have any idea what its like having a manager like wenger its the most frustrating thing in the world. Still this is a boxing forum so i'll leave that for now.

Im in an extremly bad mood having just watched my beloved arsenal put it the worse performance ever and would love to fight some stupid fat american.
Bring it fat fukers.......
I saw that game.
The top six side Everton were quite good considering they spend as much money on players as West Bromwich Albion, but you did have an off-day, yeah
Don't be too disheartened - you got a last minute equaliser.
Anyway, sorry to have digressed; let's get back to boxing.................................

I think the "Most Improved" award should go to the former Soviet Union nations. Especially in the Cruiserweight and Heavyweight divisions.
I am a proud Englishman, but I have to agree with this assessment.

Great point.
Britain and america are allies i like the fact we have a strong and good relationship with america and may it long continue ! with boxing i think everyone has a little dig at america because they are "historically" the best and its the mecca for boxing.
Very good post; excellent.
