Jamie Fox says he would play Mike Tyson in a movie

I couldn't watch it; I would laugh the whole way through. He needs to Play Jack Johnson; not Tyson. Michael Jai White isn't a great actor, but he trained as a fighter and had the build somewhat near prime Tyson. His head could have enlarged some, but, it was as close as I've seen so far. he already played him in a made for TV movie. "Tyson"

Wait...Wait...WAIT A SECOND!! 1. Ever seen Redemption? Jamie Foxx got HUGE for that role...and Tookie was bigger than Tyson ever was 2. HBO's version was great, cept the ending where they made it look like Tyson was completely guilty 3. Isn't there already a new-ish Tyson movie that was played in the independent circuit that got great reviews? What happened to that? 4. If it is made, which it could very well be...Timeline from Douglass loss to now...HBO did a damn good job from childhood to Douglas loss 5. What the F*ck happened to the Sonny Liston movie?!?!?! Where is it? I mean, it's done, so what's the deal? Jamie must have better genes than Tyson ;) Yeah and I hear the guy that played Tyson was Great :)

I couldn't watch it; I would laugh the whole way through. Seriously. Jamie Foxx is an all around talented guy but he's made fun of Tyson numerous times. Seeing Foxx play Tyson would remind me too much of this. Fast forward to 2:40.

google ving rhames - personally i think hed be a better choice. hes a good actor, for those of you who dont know who im on about hes starred as marcelus in pulp fiction. jamie foxx is a good actor but imo he doesn't have the physical body structure to pull off the look, no doubt he is a good actor though. yes physically maybe, but he doesnt have the acting abilities to pull of tysons character.

Pimped white women; married them; was a hell razor of the law; loved pissing of white people; and a hero to "all" Men that want to live free spiritually. Plus, they are right around the same size. I saw the original movie but it could be updated.

yeh, he can do good on a tyson role, but like reedikyaluss said, homie will have to be on hormones to get buffed up.

Well if they turned Will Smith into Muhammad Ali Im sure they can turn Foxx into Tyson Foxx actually has the Mike Tyson eyes/brow ridge Will and Muhammad had something in common besides height; they are funny people. You look at them and you know they have that just kidding look in the eyes. Of course, Ali has that fighter side to him that you don't want to piss off; Smith could never capture that. Now look at Foxx and Tyson

I could actually see him playing Mike. Facially, anyway. Physically, I'm sure he could beef up to make at least a semi-accurate representation.
