Should Arum say that to Floyd if Top Rank is approached by Floyd's people for a Pacquiao fight?
I would if I was Arum. It'd get 2 of his fighters big money fights.
I doubt Arums says that and if he does so be it. I doubt Floyd bows down to Arum unless the money is just ridiculous and no negotiations have been made so we don't know how much each guy cud make.
I believe thats the reason he didn't rematch Oscar because he wanted the bigger share. We all know its almost impossible to get 50/50 from De Le Hoya.
my own theory? no facts behind it just pure speculation.
floyd hurt his hands. so gbp and him decided to just play it off as contract disputes so he has time to heal.
oscar then fights manny (an easy win) and floyd and oscar rematches later on.
just a theory.
Yes, Oscar, I will take a lot less money than you to fight you.
Please May is good, but DLH was his daddy in negotiations for that one.
Yes dad, I will take 25 to your 52 million.
But you're right in Floyd can call shots better now.

marquez-pac 3 would probably do another 500k a 3rd time around at minimum.
True enough but it is my belief that the build up to a Pacman-Mayweather fight will capture the imagination of fight fans and do much larger numbers then that. Also by the time the fight comes off the economy could be better so I think Floyd-Pacman can well outdistance Floyd-Hatton in PPV sales (US only of course).
We all know that Mayweather fights on his terms, nobody gon make him do shit.
yeah?
so when he rans out of money , creditors can't make him pay shit too?
After Hatton which will bring in a lot of cash for sure, who else will bring in more then 10 million to Pacman. Both of them have limited options, until they only have each other.

pacquiao has a lot more options than floyd does right now tbh.

hell no, there's just too much money in a pac/pbf fight... the only obstacle is pbf's purse demands and the lawsuit between arum and pbf.

**** gayweather, make that punk ass fight marg or cotto, especially since pac is going to have his hands full with hatton and marquez next year.
Matter of fact, if the fight comes to fruition, Have gayweather fight pac at 140
I mean really after Hatton which is a big fight also that will bring in much cash, who is there that would really bring in the long green for Pacman and by extension Arum.
He is retired, so he would have to be lured out of retirement, which means you really do not make crazy demands on him because he could just say **** you I am retired and I hate you anyway Bob so good luck making as much money as you will make with me elsewhere. Bob Arum knows all of this, they need each other to make a HUGE fight, it is not all Floyd and it is not all Pacman but together it would make for a huge fight. After Hatton what is left for Manny? JMM but there is a ton more money to be made with Floyd.
You should be happy if Floyd takes this fight because he will have to bury the hachet with Arum, which would allow for Floyd to possibly fight some welter weights that people get so bent out of shape about Floyd not fighting~ then again he could just retire again after so who knows.
and Floyd fans want a Pac match so he doesn't have to face Margarito or Cotto.
Either way, Floyd is in a sticky situation if he does come back to fight Manny. If he does, its because of the money he will make. That alone goes back on his word of not needing any more. If he fights Manny, everyone will know he ducked Margarito and Cotto to fight the smaller men in Hatton and Pac.
then I think.. that either way... is good that manny won last saturday... it will prove one thing or the other! no escape
Sounds like excuses to me.
All the Pac fans were just saying a third match with Marquez was not an option because it "makes no money" and that Pac already beat him and it proves nothing.
Now all of a sudden they want a third match to save Pac from Floyd. :lol1:

mayweather is only interested in fighting the top draws from now on. if margie or cotto become that then he will fight those guys imo.
btw i dont think this will happen next. arum wont risk it yet with an easier big money fight with fatman
