Every Hatton fight has ended...

Steward called it a check hook before Floyd mentioned it.

Hatton is so clumsy, Manny will counter and circle him to submission. Manny proved that he can box, hatton's face won't hold up for 12 rounds. being able to box is worth shit when ur the smaller man and have no room to work in Oh really? I thought I remembered the Collazo fight ending with Hatton's vision blacked out and him stumbling around because he ate about a trillion straight lefts from a guy with 13 KOs, and nearly got KOd. God damn that Joe Cortez for the Collazo fight too. He moved up in weight for Collazo who was too big but Hatton still got in close and won the fight. he doesn't have to dance, just hit and move. he's fast enough to do that. he's not, ricky is too quick, he'll cut the ring off and get in close I think this fight would be bad for Hatton. There is no way he could keep up with the speed and the power of Pac, I know he can brawl on the inside but like its been said earlier Pac would not let him get on the inside. Its a shame because yes I am a Hatton fan and would love to see the fight but I know that Hatton wouldn't be able to handle Pac. hatton has managed to get on the inside of every fighter he's ever fought, including the ultra quick Mayweather (until Cortez repeatedly broke them up). Oscar could've went on the inside but he was too scared to get hit and pulled back every time. Hatton can take a punch and still pile in.

maybe i'm just overreacting. i know people used the term before but i think what really started annoying me was when people "I ASSUME" to be not very knowledgable start throwing out the term "AFTER" the floyd-hatton fight just because they heard/read floyd call it that. now i see that term thrown out very often. i hate that term. it's just a hook! ali called the liston ko punch an "anchor punch" too. it was just a cross. Sounds cool I guess, it is a different variation of a left hook though.

was it pernell? i knew someone else used to call it that before floyd did. i don't remember who though. I definately remember Pernell calling it a check hook.
