Pacquiao is extremely popular. He has a very pleasing explosive style, he has a great deal of skill and he comes off as being a super nice guy. He started life selling stolen cigarettes to become one of the most popular guys in his own country and he is the best boxer in the world right now bar none. He has a great record, with wins over Marquez, Barrera, Morales, Diaz and De La Hoya. He is an all time great in the making. But all this "pown" talk is misplaced. Threads like "For all the HATERS" are ridiculous. Who on earth are they addressed to? Sure a lot of people thought very sensibly that De La Hoya would be far too big, but I don't know of any one single person who wanted Oscar to win. And all the shit talking about prospective opponents is tiresome and unnecessary. I for one feel that the Pinoy's/Pac fans should be able to bask in the glory of what there countryman has accomplished. Do I think they should take it overboard, no. But from what I've seen so far and I haven't been on since saturday is some I told you so's. What's really sickening is people trying to take away from Pac's win with the hate and excuses about how pac one.
