Hatton himself sympathised with De La Hoya, whose fine career looks all but over, and heaped praise on an 'oustanding' display from Pacquiao. "I'm a little bit sick because sometimes you see some of your heroes, so many great fighters, end their careers in that manner but thankfully he (De La Hoya) is okay," Hatton said. "He's such a great champion, such a role model for the game and it wasn't really nice to see that, but credit to Manny Pacquiao - outstanding, pound-for-pound No.1. Funny how a few days ago people said Pac wouldnt beat hatton the weight difference would be too much. Now noone thinks hatton would beat Pac. I despise boxing talk.

I do think Hatton's style will cause pac some trouble but you would have to favor Pac.Exactly, I don't think Pacman will just annihilate Hatton like everyone is saying, he's much more active than DLH, however Pac-Man would be the obvious favorite.

hatton beats pac dont let last nights showing put you off the facts in dlh been a static punch bag. hatton has nice hand and foot speed power at 140 and in the right condition would match if not better pacs workrate down the stretch. just cuz pac had it all hes own way dont straight away take away any thoughts off hatton winning this. but then again plz do it will be more sweeter when hatton wins
