Ok all you dela hoya fans, manny was indeed a storm tonight... Just look at the interview after the fight, oscar just didn,t know what answer to give to larry merchant, like he,s confused or something and that what happens when you fight manny, he makes you disorient...right about now i don,t care who manny fights right now he beats... Bring on hatton, or please bring floyd out of retirement...if floyd was thinking of fighting him he better think again...look how those bodyshots were hurting oscar, and not to say that manny was just giving oscar a chance to put up a fight in which oscar didn,t want to open up because if he did manny would k.o. Him...manny will only fight about 2 more fights and retire...and if he goes down to 140 that,s a invitation for hatton to sign a fight with him...manny will bust up hatton and stop him for sure within 6 rounds...
he obviously took a dive, come on he was backing up from a small ass fighter and was not even throwing back anytiime during the fight oscar could of just unleashed a nasty left hook and knok that lil dude out!
Are you:

I didn't hear that. What I heard (in the post-fight interview) was that he controlled the fight from the first round.
yeah pac just said he knew he could beat dlh from that 1st round because dlh couldn't handle the speed.
did you not here manny say he could have beat the sht out of dela hoya in the 1st rd. if he wanted to...the guy is fcking lightning man...hoya didn,t know how to defend....

people who think this fight was thrown are IDIOTS!!! You cant throw a fight in that kind of fashion.
Plus, why did Oscar, out of frustration, grab the back of manny's head and illegally punch him like 4 or 5 times??? It's because he was frustrated that he couldn't hit him, he wouldn't do something like that if it was fixed. I'll make a gif of that if someone can help me remember what round (I think 3 or 4).
Round 5 dude. And please let me know which AVI-GIF program you're using. All the ones I've tried are crap.

Did you see his facial reactions when he cornered Pac? He was throwing vicious left hooks while holding Mannys head with his right hand... Man up and just bring in the next guy!
Exactly. Oscar was very frustrated and angry at that point (round 5). The emotion was genuine.

Anyone who thinks Oscar took a dive in this fight has revealed a lot about themselves. And not in a good way either.
That says it all.

Obviously this fight wasn't thrown. Oscar just didn't have it that night. Everything that Freddie said was wrong with Oscar and was going to go wrong for Oscar that night, proved Freddie right: Oscar is way past his prime...even "shot" if you will. I still think that pushing for the 147 pound fight was a brilliant move by Freddie and a dumb move by Oscar...it killed Oscar and may have been the knife in the heart to push him to "shot" mode.
Oscar had nothing from the opening bell; kind of reminded I of Pac vs. Morales when they last met...which was another brilliant negotiations tactic from Freddie to make Morales make weight.
People have to realize the fight starts before the two fighters step into the ring; this is War tactics...and credit for Freddie for being the Fox...and of course Manny for being the Wolf. It's all a part of the game and they continue to win the whole game.
Sugar Ray Leonard used to use brilliant tactics like this because he too knew the battle started at the negotiation table.
It's why when people discuss a fight with Floyd, I say Floyd should be smart enough not to give the conditions Freddie wants: Fight should be at 147, not 140. That's really the big thing.

he can't hit him... We are not saying Pac beat the prime ODLH but it was clearly shown in the fight that ODLH is old and PAc is better on that night...
Anyone who thinks Oscar took a dive in this fight has revealed a lot about themselves. And not in a good way either. Things like this have been happening in boxing for a long time. When you are fighting on the highest level and you either don't have or lose your stuff, you're going to look real bad. Oscar got old in that ring and Pacquiao was the worst possible opponent for that to happen against. Why is it so hard for some people to understand that?
Unfortunatley Scott some individuals on here seem to lack the ability to analyse circumstances logically and form a reasonable conclusion in the manner that you have. It is easier for them to remain blinded by their hate and ignorance than understand the true nature of the events.
To me, an indicator that DLH was serious about knocking Pac's head off was early in the very first round, when he missed an uppercut with vicious intent breaking from the clinch.
There was no fix, DLH was just shot and old.
DLH looked completely shot. Hoya would've lost to any top WW or JWW last night.
Same thing they said when Pacman made Barrera and Morales look old. Pacquiao has that effect on Hall-of-famers. :D
The supposed debilitating liver shot that made him wince in pain against Hopkins would be more of a dive than the 8-round beatdown he took from Manny. :D Anyone saying dela Hoya took a dive on this one is a tool. :D
Pac looked slow as shit.
To say Pac beat Delaoldya on fair terms then some of you are revealing something about yourselfs.
Be a man and own your humiliating loss.

Very well put! A lot of ****ing idiots on these message boards...
Do anyone agree with these comments, and if so please post comments...
I agree with your post 100%. No way DLH took a dive. He's too much of a egotistical **** to do suck a thing like that.
